Day 255 [Open] First rule of Pillow Fight Club: Never talk about Pillow Fight Club

What: Ibuki's bored and is attacking everybody with pillows
Format: Action but ok with switching
Warnings: Pillow abuse


[Sometime after lunch, Ibuki's voice will ring out from everybody's amulet that is within the Bastion's communication range-]

IBUKI IS DECLARING IT NOW. THIS. IS. PILLOW WAR!!!!!!!

[Ibuki will not be responding to amulet network messages that reply to her]

[Rather, she is running around with a bunch of pillows. Should she spot you, prepare yourelf, for she could do a number of things]

[1: Should you not notice her, she'll try to sneak up behind you and bop you on the back of the head with a pillow. If it looks like you're in the middle of important work, it'll be a very soft bop]

[2: If you're watching her, she'll run up to you and try to pillow bop your face]

[3: There is no 3]

[4: She may be hiding around a corner, and when you get close... "BWAH!" Pillow to the face!]

[5: Even dragons aren't safe from pillows.]

[6: If she knows you fairly well, especially if you're a member of her band, she might be coming into your bedroom directly to pillow fight you.]

Oooh, Anyan-chan, are your ears that sensitive?

What if Ibuki plays a song for you outside? It's indoors when you really have to worry about the acoustics, but outside you'll survive it just fine! It's true! You won't be in any danger of losing your hearing! You don't have to worry about the sound bouncing around!

Well, you know, this is the only body that I have, and I can't just magically heal anything that goes wrong with it. Aging will be hard enough already without me intentionally inflicting damage on it.

Listen, listen, Ibuki has the title of Super Ultimate Level Music Person where she comes from, it's true! You can believe her when she says that your ears aren't in any danger if you listen to her music outside! Ibuki promises!

[That's not quite how her title goes, but it's close enough, really]

[Anya considers this and then jabs her pinky out at Ibuki.]

Pinky swear.

[Look she learned a new human thing and now she wants to use it.]

Pinky swear! If Ibuki breaks the swear, something will happen to her! Scary!

[And she locks pinkies with Anya to give a shake]

You'll wait for Ibuki to get her guitar, right? Right? She can be back really fast!

You mean to perform right this instant?

[scary_music]

Not this instant! But very soon, she just needs to get her equipment!

Just wait over there, where the outdoor electric outlet is! See it? Ibuki will be back soon, okay?

[And she rushes off and... assuming Anya doesn't ditch her, will soon be coming back to the aforementioned location with an amp and guitar]

Well, I assumed you were talking about a performance with your band.

[But she supposes she'll listen to this.

From a little farther away from the outlet than Ibuki possibly intended.]

Nope, Ibuki's going to show you her solo prowess!

Get ready, Anyan-chan! Ibuki calls this one, "I thought I met Dracula-notchan, but it was just his baby boy!"

[And it's a song about Ibuki's first meeting with Alucard... except, you know, it's still death metal with Ibuki's screaming and stuff like the one song I usually link]

[Anya dutifully... attempts to listen.

But after the first minute she's back to plugging her ears.]

There, there, you finally heard Ibuki's music! Thank you for listening, Anyan-chan!

[Is she ignoring the fact that Anya plugged her ears? Who knows]

It still sounded awful, but at least I learned something.

Oooh, Anyan-chan, you haven't known Ibuki long enough, so she'll let you in on a secret!

Ibuki screams a lot, it's her thing! She doesn't like keeping her feels bottled up inside!

If she stopped screaming, it'd be out of character for her! Terrible! Ibuki wants to stay as Ibuki and not suddenly become somebody else!

Well, I don't like to keep secrets either but you make it sound as though we're having this conversation from opposite sides of the Bastion.

Ibuki told you before, she needs to keep her voice in shape!

If she lets it relax too much, who knows what might be happening? She might transform from a singer to a whisperer! Terrible!
