Day 289 - Who's that pokémon?

Who: Ibuki, her chatot pokémon "Lita-chan", and you!
Open: Open
When: 289
Where: Everywhere in the Bastion
What: Ibuki's playing around with her pokémon
Format: Action brackets, though I'm cool with changing
Warnings: Ibuki

[Ibuki can be found chasing after a a certain pokémon, who's just flapping around and getting into all sorts of places and things]

Lita-chaaaaaaaaaan! Come baaaaaaaaaack!

"Nope nope nope! No booty! No booty!"

[And yes, the two will be taking a grand tour of the entirety of the Bastion, including building interiors]

[... and despite it looking like Ibuki's trying to get her chatot to return to her, she's being helpful and opening doors to places that would otherwise be inaccessible to the pokémon]

[That at least gets him to slightly move his head and look at her out of the corner of his eye, because she basically just said "Rob sucks." But back to the Pokémon.]

Hey, Lita? Can you say "Lok'tar ogar"? Lok'tar ogar!

[His volume goes up and his voice deepens dramatically as he says something that the amulets fail to translate, making it sound as impressive and worth of imitation as he can. What no he'd not trying to infect Lita with his nerdiness what are you talking about.]

[Rob grins at Lita and opens his mouth to say something more when Ibuki calls out. His head whips around to face her, shock and surprise evident on his face. He may pretend that he never heard of Pokémon before coming here, but he knows exactly what Ibuki just tried to do, and that knowledge slams through his mind like a wreaking ball. He may consider Ibuki relentlessly obnoxious, but this was absolutely not something he'd ever expected from her.

Some part of his mind dimly recognizes the lack of -chan, but that small victory is buried under the confusion of what just happened and why.]

Sure.

[The response is pretty much automatic, since most of his brain is trying to go back and analyze the events of this encounter to figure out what led to this.]
