Entry tags:
lap seven // day 270 (open)
Who: Aoi and every resident of the Bastion she can get her hands on.
Open: HELL YEAH
When: Throughout day 270
Where: WHEREVER YOU ARE; she's hunting people down!
What: Aoi has big plans and a small amount of time and she needs everyone's help to make this party happen!
Format: Action tags preferred, but I'll match!
Warnings: N/A
[As soon as the travel party set out towards the Bastion, Aoi decided what needed to be done. It didn't have to be anything too extravagant, especially since she'd be focusing on making it happen as soon as possible without any pre-planning, but a welcome party for the group of Ura who had come to stay with them was absolutely necessary.
She stayed up late last night putting together something like a plan: scribbling lists of what they'd need, what to do—a tall order, certainly, given all the Bastion's residents, but she wanted the party thrown as soon as possible. If she waited too long, it wouldn't be a welcome party anymore!
With enough help, though, she could get it done in a day.
And that's why Aoi's scurrying up and down the Bastion today. If she hasn't disappeared to go work on her own contributions, she's darting in and out of the public buildings, jogging across the open fields, and heading right in the direction of absolutely anyone she sees—except, of course, their newest residents; she's got a good enough head on her shoulders to be friendly when she passes by any members of the new group of Ura instead of actively avoiding them, but they can't know about the party. A surprise is the only way to go!
So she'll be reaching out to all of the Bastion's other residents—seriously, all of them, even those she doesn't know so well. A group effort is the only thing that's going to make this happen, after all!]
Hey! Hey, you! I need your help! [She'll run over to anyone she spots anywhere, glance around furtively to make sure none of the new Ura can listen in on her top secret party plans, lower her voice, and lean in.]
I wanna throw a party.
(( ooc: Partylog will be a separate post made later! Timing-wise, Aoi will be recruiting assistance throughout the day so that decorations and food and such are prepared, just not put out, and either having people stay up late or wake up early to help put things out during the night so the party's ready the following morning, but we'll probably handwave the actual set-up unless anyone is particularly inclined to threading it out. Tags and partylog might be delayed depending on how bad the blizzard I am smack-dab in the middle of messes with the power. ))

[Really, Aoi?
It's not a bad idea but a little short notice.
Then again Rin has done parties on short notice here before.
There's a sigh, a tug on a loose strand of hair, and finally a relenting smile. She can't say no to that.]
Alright, alright, what do you need?

I need your cooking mastery, Rin! We're gonna need lots of food for everybody! Aaaand everyone else I asked told me they couldn't cook at all... But! But I'm still asking around! So I'll send some helpers your way ASAP, too!
no subject
Well, yeah. There's a reason there's only like three of us that do any of the cookin' around here.
[Seriously, she should hold lessons or something.]
How much are we even gonna need?

...Buuuut I know it's kinda short notice, soooo even just some easy to make snacks'd be fine, too...
no subject
It is. Buuuut. I'll see what I can do. Gettin' some help in here would make it go easier, though. I still ain't 100% yet.

[Keep the praise coming, Aoi. You know Rin loves it.]
Just make sure I ain't doin' it all on my own.

[And she's off again, calling over her shoulder as she jogs—] Thanks, Riiiin!
