Entry tags:
lap seven // day 270 (open)
Who: Aoi and every resident of the Bastion she can get her hands on.
Open: HELL YEAH
When: Throughout day 270
Where: WHEREVER YOU ARE; she's hunting people down!
What: Aoi has big plans and a small amount of time and she needs everyone's help to make this party happen!
Format: Action tags preferred, but I'll match!
Warnings: N/A
[As soon as the travel party set out towards the Bastion, Aoi decided what needed to be done. It didn't have to be anything too extravagant, especially since she'd be focusing on making it happen as soon as possible without any pre-planning, but a welcome party for the group of Ura who had come to stay with them was absolutely necessary.
She stayed up late last night putting together something like a plan: scribbling lists of what they'd need, what to do—a tall order, certainly, given all the Bastion's residents, but she wanted the party thrown as soon as possible. If she waited too long, it wouldn't be a welcome party anymore!
With enough help, though, she could get it done in a day.
And that's why Aoi's scurrying up and down the Bastion today. If she hasn't disappeared to go work on her own contributions, she's darting in and out of the public buildings, jogging across the open fields, and heading right in the direction of absolutely anyone she sees—except, of course, their newest residents; she's got a good enough head on her shoulders to be friendly when she passes by any members of the new group of Ura instead of actively avoiding them, but they can't know about the party. A surprise is the only way to go!
So she'll be reaching out to all of the Bastion's other residents—seriously, all of them, even those she doesn't know so well. A group effort is the only thing that's going to make this happen, after all!]
Hey! Hey, you! I need your help! [She'll run over to anyone she spots anywhere, glance around furtively to make sure none of the new Ura can listen in on her top secret party plans, lower her voice, and lean in.]
I wanna throw a party.
(( ooc: Partylog will be a separate post made later! Timing-wise, Aoi will be recruiting assistance throughout the day so that decorations and food and such are prepared, just not put out, and either having people stay up late or wake up early to help put things out during the night so the party's ready the following morning, but we'll probably handwave the actual set-up unless anyone is particularly inclined to threading it out. Tags and partylog might be delayed depending on how bad the blizzard I am smack-dab in the middle of messes with the power. ))

The request, though... Crona backs up, eyes wide, waving hands around in the air like that's going to stop a very determined Aoi from getting exactly what she wants.]
I! I don't know anything about that! I don't! I don't know how to help with something like that!

But... I don't know what to do! I've only been to a party once! I don't know what to do for a party! I don't know what to do!

C-Crona, it's—it's not that hard, I promise! Can—um, can you cook? Or you can help with the decorations! Ooorrr the party games!
no subject
I don't know anything about decorations. [There's another finger. Look at all these vitally important things that Crona can't do.]
Are there games at a party? I don't know any games. If I don't know any games I can't know party games. Are they different? Even if they're not, I still don't know them. [And there's a third finger. Crona is now doing a thing that most people do not do, called "staring in horror at what your own hand is doing".]

"Eyes" isn't a good answer, Crona knows that much. Neither is "hair". Aoi doesn't mean that sort of pretty.]
Thorns! [There's Ragnarok, popping out to add his unasked-for opinion.]

Um... what... what about flowers?
Thorns are better than anything you could come up with!

[Man, who isn't getting flowers for the party? That's okay; flowers are great.]
no subject
Is that okay?

I'll make a lot. Then, um... if I get even more flowers, we can make crowns at the party. Is that okay? It's like a game, sort of.

It... [It sort of feels too good to be true, even if Crona's time here in the Bastion has been an awful lot of doing things correctly.]
It's all right. Everyone's going to like the flowers.

...Not too exciting, though. Not yet, 'cause it's still a surprise! [Her voice drops suddenly, and she puts a finger to her lips.] Got it?
no subject
It's a secret. I can keep a secret.

[And she's sprinting off again to find more people to pester.]
