[It had certainly been a day for Ibuki. What had turned into a simple declaration of pillow fights had become a roller coaster of emotions]

[She had a lot of fun that day, but there had also been a few letdowns and disappointments. Revelations that she hadn't expected at all]

[And yet, one of those unexpected revelations had been something special... but she was also afraid. Afraid that she would be left alone. Again]

[And so, Ibuki slipped into Ippo's room, making her way over to his bedroom]

Ippo-chan!

[... and that was Ibuki, pouncing onto Ippo's bed. For all her unsure feelings she felt, she was still a spaz]

[He raised an eyebrow at the sudden outburst...he only caught a few words out of that whole mess and from what he could piece together...was Ibuki asking to move in to his room? He could feel the color rise in his cheeks, though it wasn't really something anyone but him could notice in the dark and he brought a finger up to scratch at his cheek.]

I...um...I don't...see why not? I mean...you don't think it's too soon?

[Ippo let out a small sigh and sat upright, placing his hands atop Ibuki's shoulders so he could get her attention...not that putting his forehead against hers wouldn't have done that, but he figured it couldn't hurt.]

Ibuki, it's okay, really! If that's what you want...of course you can, I don't have any reason to say no.

[If only the lights were on, his face was beet red and he honestly had no idea what he was doing...but he couldn't stand to see or hear Ibuki cry, it hurt his heart and made him feel like he kicked a puppy.]

[Even if the lights were on, Ibuki wouldn't have really said anything about Ippo's face. Not right now]

You mean it? You're... you're really okay with Ibuki sleeping in the same bed with you so soon, Ippo-chan?

[He caught himself in the middle of his initial reaction and thought about the situation, carefully for once. On one hand...that really was a quick transition from I like you to Let's share a bed...but Ibuki hadn't said anything about anything else beyond sleeping. It wasn't like she'd suggested anything lewd or anything...just, sleeping. He could do that, right? And...if he was being honest, it might be nice to have someone to cuddle with as he fell asleep.]

I...well. Honestly? It seems...quick but, I think that would be alright. It's not like any harm could come of it, right?

[When it came to hugs, you didn't need to tell Ippo twice...though first, he'd toss the blankets up and over Ibuki so he could get her out of the cold and into a proper hug...because what was better than hugs? Blanket hugs.]

[Ippo pulled back just a bit...not enough to break the hug, but enough that he could give her a quizzical look.]

She could give it to you right now! In only a few seconds, but can she survive no hugs for a few seconds right now? It's a mystery!

... ah! Okay, hold on, Ibuki has an idea!

[She presses up against Ippo, resting her chin on his shoulder as she tries to bring up her left hand towards her mouth-what is she doing?]

[Was it a little embarrassing? Yes...and it was also quite soft as well, but he was more curious as to what Ibuki was up to...at least enough so that his face wasn't completely red. The best he could do was sit still and let Ibuki do what she needed to without interruption.]

[... if Ibuki had just taken it off normally and given it to him, it'd probably already be on Ippo's finger by now]

[He took the ring, figuring that's probably what she was making the noises about and slipped it on to his right hand's index finger. His fingers were quite a bit bigger than Ibuki's, so it fit perfectly, he even turned the hug into a one armed one for a few seconds so he could show her.]
