What: Not everyone is going to go search for the Core. Some people have to stay behind and tend to the daily things in the Bastion, after all.

[Regardless of the Bastion's current state, there are still things that need to be done from day to day. Some one has to attend to those things, and not everyone can just up and leave. Some people might not even want to leave, and there are even a select few that just can't.

So for those of you staying behind, make sure you're not strangers to your fellow survivors!]

[Crona might have gone to the Skyway, but there's someone left behind. The little squirt was told to stay in the house, but instead it keeps drifting clumsily around the Bastion. It lands on the windowsill, and chirrups at Rin.]

[Escaping is a totally normal thing to do.]

Hi little guy!

[It bobs up and down on the windowsill, and squeaks.]

[hellpyre]

[How about some pets, little squirt? Rin will gladly offer them.]

[blackblooded]

[The squirt rams into Rin's hand lightly. It likes being pet.]

[Rin will happily give the squirt pets.

Meanwhile there is a curious Tepig getting up on the counter. What is that thing? Can I sniff it?]

[The squirt makes a noise almost exactly like a teakettle boiling over, and puffs up at Tepig.]

[Sorry, Squirt. Rin thinks that's funny as hell.] TEPIG!

[blackblooded]

[The squirt is so tiny and it's very intimidated by tepig and it attempts to burrow down into the counter.]

[Poor little thing. Rin puts a hand on Kintaro's head and pushes him back, holding her other hand out for the squirt.] Hey, its okay. No one's gonna hurt you here.

[It makes little unhappy noises, and sort of flattens down against the counter. Flat unhappy squirt.]

Nooo shhh... don't be upset!

[More unhappy noises, like a slowly deflating balloon.]

[No no little squirt don't be like that. Rin is going to pick you up and give you a hug now.] It's okay. Kintaro won't hurt you.

[The squirt promptly puffs up, like a balloon, and bumps into Rin's chest a few times.]

[Probably a good thing she doesn't have much to run in to then.] Hey, hey, it's okay...

[The tone is familiar, and the squirt calms down a bit, wiggling into Rin's arms.]

See? There ya go. That's not so bad, right?

[Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. The squirt has apparently decided to nap.]

Tepig... Oh don't start. You get to snuggle with me all the time, Kintaro. Pig. [Tepig gives a snort and toddles off to somewhere else, obviously to sulk and be jealous about the attention Rin is giving the Squirt.]
