[For the past two days, Zia's been anxiously roaming about the Bastion's eastern edge. Any day now, she kept telling herself, any hour—and this morning she woke up too early, couldn't get back to sleep, and decided to check, just in case.

And there it is, finally built for her: the house is exactly what she wanted, and even more than that now that it's real and in front of her.

Before she does anything else, Zia spends a good half hour running up and down all the hallways, looking over and under every piece of furniture, sitting in every single cushion in the den, and making herself familiar with every inch of her new home, giggling with glee all the while.

Only after she's finished remaking one of the beds after rolling around in it solely to mess up the blankets, just to make it feel a little more like hers, it occurs to her that the others aren't just going to walk in with all their stuff and make themselves cozy. Not without her help, anyway.

And so she's off, running back and forth across the Bastion. She has a lot of visits to make!]

[He'll finally get the door OKAY gosh]

I'd find that a lot more touching if it wasn't so nefarious.

[evacuate]

Well, if you're going to call me names, I won't show you what's downstairs. [Clearly a blatant lie, because as soon as she drops the stuff in her arms in a haphazard pile on top of the bed, she scrambles to the trapdoor at the side of the room. She hefts it open and hustles down the stairs.] Come on!

[fuckthemancers]

It's practically a compliment, I'll have you know!

[Sort of, anyway. But, bit by bit, he's being chipped down and hurries after her, curious against his own will.]

[evacuate]

[She jumps right down the last couple of steps, only just managing to to keep herself from falling. Beaming, she twirls aside so that Zulf can get by and see the whole den: furnished to Zahi and Zayna's approval (and not a wooden chair in sight among all those cushions despite the suggestion; if the rest of her losers wanted chairs, they could sit upstairs), patterned with stripes, and excessively plush. A proper Ura den if there ever was one.]

Tah-dah!

[fuckthemancers]

[Even if Zia doesn't fall, Zulf nearly does when he tries to lunge when he thinks she's about to and just barely catches himself. There's a worrying and admonishing look sent her way before he gets distracted.]

...Oh.

[It's very faint, and he seems rather stunned before slowly moving further in, taking a look over everything. It seems like he's just going to be spaced out for a good five more minutes if not longer before he suddenly twists around to grab a hold of Zia to pull her tightly into a hug.]

[evacuate]

[And she's happy as can be to just let him stare for as long as he wants until she's brought into that hug.

Success.

Laughing, delighted, she returns the embrace.] It had to be a surprise. It's at least mostly accurate, right? I mean, I couldn't tell myself...

[fuckthemancers]

It's fantastic.

[His voice is a bit muffled; he might be speaking into one of her flowers.]

How'd you know?

[evacuate]

Zayna and Zahi helped me with the specifics. I knew we had to have one, and I wanted it to be as perfect as it could be.

[fuckthemancers]

Going to have to thank them somehow...

[He might need to be pried off from this hug with a crowbar eventually, Zia, he hopes you realize this]

[evacuate]

[Prying out of hugs? Naahhhh, she's just gonna make herself comfy.]

I think I accidentally gave Zahi permanent visiting rights, so that's a start. Are you just going to keep gaping at it or are we going to get the rest of your stuff in here?

[fuckthemancers]

I'm not gaping at it. [He's still hugging you, after all.] How do you plan on getting Raile in here? He'll be more stubborn than I am.

[evacuate]

[She tenses, just for the short second it takes her to realize that she has.] Step one was asking you. Step two is going to be convincing Rucks, and then we all gang up on Raile.

[fuckthemancers]

Can't we just make Rucks sleep out in the garden? I'll get to mock him every morning when I wake up, it'll be refreshing.

[It's a joke, he swears.]

[...Okay partially a joke.]

[evacuate]

Zulf. [Prying out of that hug now so she can huff and pout at him!!! And then she starts to scurry back to the stairs.] Are we going to finish moving your things or what?

[fuckthemancers]

I'm not being serious!

[But yes, he is definitely hurrying right after her. In the space of ten minutes, he's gone from indignantly yelling to being swept right up into this. Incredible.]

We should stop by the distillery first- there's a cart we can use! All we have to do is tie the Rattle-tails to it.

[evacuate]

Don't be rude! [She scurries up the stairs and out the door, prattling all the while.] Ooh, you should look at the bookshelf in the living room upstairs when you have a chance. I haven't been able to see what books it came with yet. That's a great idea, though! Let's get the cart and the birds and bring everything over!

[fuckthemancers]

I can look after we've guilt tripped Raile into living here, it's not going to go anywhere!

[Zulf sticks his fingers in his mouth and gives a loud whistle before he continues to follow Zia.]

Do you think we should just take his things as well before he has a chance to protest?

[evacuate]

Oh, and I'm "nefarious"! Hmph. Yes, we might as well.

[fuckthemancers]

I told you it was a compliment!

[And that's around the time when the Rattle-tail swarm comes into play, coming around the corner in a mass of white and happily joining the pair.]

Now for the cart- do you want to go to my tent and I'll get it?
