day 212 ♪ closed
Who: Zia, Zulf, Zahi, Zayna, Rucks, and Raile, or at least some combination thereof
Open: Closed
When: 212
Where: Out and about, but mostly at Zia's BALLIN' NEW ABODE
What: IT'S MOVING DAY
Format: [kanye shrug]
[For the past two days, Zia's been anxiously roaming about the Bastion's eastern edge. Any day now, she kept telling herself, any hour—and this morning she woke up too early, couldn't get back to sleep, and decided to check, just in case.
And there it is, finally built for her: the house is exactly what she wanted, and even more than that now that it's real and in front of her.
Before she does anything else, Zia spends a good half hour running up and down all the hallways, looking over and under every piece of furniture, sitting in every single cushion in the den, and making herself familiar with every inch of her new home, giggling with glee all the while.
Only after she's finished remaking one of the beds after rolling around in it solely to mess up the blankets, just to make it feel a little more like hers, it occurs to her that the others aren't just going to walk in with all their stuff and make themselves cozy. Not without her help, anyway.
And so she's off, running back and forth across the Bastion. She has a lot of visits to make!]

Zahi & Zayna
She knocks on their door when she arrives and bounces on the balls of her feet in anticipation while she waits for an answer.]
Zulf
losersdearest friends tend to be, she's long since figured out that Zulf couldn't say no to her if he tried. As such, he'll be the first she drags over. Start small and work her way up.
Too excited for things like basic social courtesies, she marches without announcement into his tent, takes a moment to thoughtfully survey the area, and leans over to scoop up an armful of pillows and blankets.]
It's moving day! [And with that, she turns around and marches right out.
Thanks, Zia.]

[His brain seems to finally snap out of the shock, and he starts to scramble up onto his feet.]
ok i'm done
[Zia has acquired one (1) Ura loser, +10 to diplomacy and +5 to angst.]
no subject
And that's all she says, instead just giggling all the way to the new house. Bouncing in place, she waits just outside the closed door.]
Can you get the door for me? It's unlocked!

[Fortunately for Zulf, he has obnoxiously long legs on him, a fact which is often missed by the fact that he wears skirts 24/7. He hikes them up a bit to give chase, slowing down only when the house comes into view.]
What is this?

Why?

[And of course he follows in because... Yeah, she has him nailed that he can't actually refuse her anything.]

Zia, is this what you were gathering up all those shards for?

Why not ask the rest of us for help? We could have gotten enough shards a lot quicker if we worked together.

I'd find that a lot more touching if it wasn't so nefarious.

[Sort of, anyway. But, bit by bit, he's being chipped down and hurries after her, curious against his own will.]

Tah-dah!

...Oh.
[It's very faint, and he seems rather stunned before slowly moving further in, taking a look over everything. It seems like he's just going to be spaced out for a good five more minutes if not longer before he suddenly twists around to grab a hold of Zia to pull her tightly into a hug.]

Success.
Laughing, delighted, she returns the embrace.] It had to be a surprise. It's at least mostly accurate, right? I mean, I couldn't tell myself...

[His voice is a bit muffled; he might be speaking into one of her flowers.]

[He might need to be pried off from this hug with a crowbar eventually, Zia, he hopes you realize this]

I think I accidentally gave Zahi permanent visiting rights, so that's a start. Are you just going to keep gaping at it or are we going to get the rest of your stuff in here?

[But yes, he is definitely hurrying right after her. In the space of ten minutes, he's gone from indignantly yelling to being swept right up into this. Incredible.]
We should stop by the distillery first- there's a cart we can use! All we have to do is tie the Rattle-tails to it.

[Zulf sticks his fingers in his mouth and gives a loud whistle before he continues to follow Zia.]
Do you think we should just take his things as well before he has a chance to protest?

[And that's around the time when the Rattle-tail swarm comes into play, coming around the corner in a mass of white and happily joining the pair.]
Now for the cart- do you want to go to my tent and I'll get it?

[The sound of stone hitting soft earth rattled through the air as a familiar face tossed a large and odd looking mask of some sort next to his bed roll before taking a seat himself.
There had been a score to settle out on Trigger Hill.
Last time, he hadn't seen that Lunkhead coming and it had almost gotten the best of him. This time, things had been different; this time, Raile had been on the hunt and years of repressed anger had come down like a righteous fury the likes the creature had never seen before.
Now he had not only proof of his victory, but also something to give his Bullhead Shield some added protection; it had been in dire need of an upgrade for a while now, and this was as good a reason as any to start the project.
He had a lot of projects going at the moment. Projects kept him busy, kept him and his mind moving, kept him from feeling the stabbing in his chest. Work was a release and so he buried himself in it with great abandon. New scars adorned his arms, joining the many already there from his labors; each one a story he'd rather forget.
Right now though, despite his wishes, his body needed rest; so he placed his back against the tree he'd chosen for shade and stared out into the sky as he often did with a vacant gaze. Maybe he'd get some Werewhiskey later...but for now, he would stay put.]
