[Kitten tilts her head, considering Alucard. She doesn't know if she believes he's entirely unaffected, but that's all the more reason to go along.]

I am not very good at carrying supplies. I may be strong for my size, but I am very small. I would be glad to accompany you, though.

[Kitten would be correct in her belief that he's not unaffected, but not much can be done while he's telling himself that he's perfectly fine.]

It is likely that I will need two extra sets of eyes more than extra sets of hands for this trip. I doubt that Castlevania will vanish after our first attempt at searching its depths, so we need not worry if I cannot carry something back alone.

[His attention shifts to focus on the hawk. He remembers Kitten, but...]

My name is Skysong, though most call me Kitten until I grow into it. You talk more like me and less like a hawk.

[And then he continues. Sorry, Alucard, Kitten is a little distracted from the mission here by her abundance of eager curiosity. And she's a very talkative dragon.]

You can change into other things? Like what? How? Are you human or a hawk? Mama can shapeshift into the People, but she can't speak mind to mind when she does. Are you a wildmage like her?

[Guiltily, she does get back on track and tacks on before Tobias can answer, though she does expect answers to her questions eventually:]

I am much better at fighting than I am at carrying things. I have not used any magic yet today, so I still have illusion, lock-opening, and destruction spells available, among others.
