Day 158 : Return from the Observatory
Who: Everyone and anyone
Open: Day 158
Where: The Monument + some other locations
What: The group returns from the Observatory with one core, one rescued person, and a lot of salvage.
Format: whatever you like
Warnings: science
[On day 158, two days after they left, the salvage crew returns from the second trip to the Mancer Observatory. This time, instead of answers, they have loot. Lots and lots of loot. Also, they've brought a new person with them!
There is a lot of discussions to have, so have them in here.]

After all, part of its job is to protect its master and its master's allies. Part of its job was to rescue this man. And considering the attitude of its master, the Samurai could probably refuse without facing any consequences. Does that mean it does any of this because it wants to, or is it just habit? Would it "care" if its master was defeated? It certainly has a preference for him over the other members of the Organization.
This is a lot more thinking than it's used to doing, but at last it does hold up one finger. One. There's one person it might sort of care about, possibly.]

Ain't that kind of feelin', no matter how small, the kind of feelin' someone with a heart would have?
Even if it's just the bare scraps of emotion, you've sure got somethin', then.

The bare scraps of emotion, huh? It doesn't sound like much, but it's more than the nothing it's always been told that it has.]

Alright, then. Y' got any more questions for me?

Don't expect any attempt at a thank you, though. Its master doesn't have the best manners, so it hasn't really caught on.]

Hope I was helpful, then. You have a good day, now.
[ He shifts to stand up, giving a little stretch to make sure his back's in the right place and settling his cane so he can support himself with it. ]
