Day 65 :: action [OPEN]

[ It'd taken about a day before Kuro was willing to part from his master-turned-mistress. When it seemed like nothing dramatic was going to swoop in and steal Rin away from him, he finally did what all cats had to do eventually. It was time to explore, so he's creeping mostly around the apartments and the Bastion overall. He's taken the time to mark some territory as well, just as a matter of principle.

If he sees anyone out and about, he'll wander over to investigate them. Maybe someone will have a snack for him. It never hurt to be an optimist. ]

Ah.... It's staring... I don't know how to deal with cats that stare... [Though apparently Crona's best guess involved curling up awkwardly.]

What if he pet the human instead?

Entirely unsure of this course of action, Kuro ventures closer and pats Crona awkwardly. ]

Crona has to kind of mentally reboot. Then peek out of the protective shield created by crossed arms and look at Kuro. The cautious extension of a hand, to pet.]

[ That's actually rather satisfying. He'd clearly taught the human a new thing.

Contented by Crona catching onto how petting was supposed to work, he rubs up against Crona's hand. ]

[A slight smile, and the faint grey of a blush as Crona learns just how nice it feels to pet a cat, running one hand lightly down the length of Kuro's spine a few times.]

... You're really soft.

[silvervine]

[ I know. Still, it's nice that it's noticed sometimes.

He lies down as Crona strokes the full length of his spine, but not completely. Elevator butt is just a thing that's inevitable in these circumstances. ]

[Elevator butt gets a slight increase in the smile, Crona getting a bit more bold in the force and speed of the petting. Not enough to hurt, just not hesitant, or worried that Kuro will break at the slightest touch.]
