Day 124 | Bead Lightning
Who: Trisana and anyone ever-
Open: OPEN LIKE THE SKIES- wait
When: Day 124
Where: around the monument, possibly moving elsewhere
What: Tris needs shards, Tris doesn't go on the Skyway for Reasons. Help her?
Format: I'll follow!
Warnings: Well. There might be magic-
Tris had been here for a while—over a month, if she managed to count the time where there wasn't a cloud cover to mark days apart correctly (Tris knew she had counted those days right, she provided the clouds for night). Even with its poor results the previous time, she spent some time making cookies before she sought some help.
Anyone who met her early in her time here might tell her braids are not looking their best. There's a reason for that, which she'll explain when someone gets close. There's cookies.
Or maybe she'd just ask the dragon when it gets around 'noon'. He probably eats enough of the things she could get the help from him.

...You wished for some assistance?

There's something I need, and I don't exactly have the shards for it.
[ But have some cookies first ]
no subject
...What do you need?
[He has a veritable mountain of shards after all.]
no subject
[ The look on her face is one daring him to make some sort of comment about that. ]
no subject
That seems reasonable. How many shards would you require?

Zoroark was off elsewhere at the moment. The second both N and the recently hatched Swablu caught wind of the scent of cookies there was a collective stomach growling.
N tried to ignore it, but Swablu from his head wasn't about to stand for this. Of course being the Pokemon world equivalent to an infant meant that it couldn't speak the way others could to N, so it let his new trainer know by promptly pecking at his head from where it sat atop that fluffy mess of green.]
Ow! Alright, okay, please stop that.
[Sighing, N turned and entered the kitchen, glancing around curiously for the source of the cookies while Swablu squawked loudly and generally made itself a noisy, completely unsubtle nuisance.]

As for people.. Tris is pulling another tray of cookies out of the wood oven, because that's the one she knows how to use.
On her knot of braids is perched a glass dragon, which peers at the fluffy blue-bird thing, and starts making glass clinking noises at it. It almost sounds like its scolding. ]
No matter what it sounds like she's saying, the cookies are for sharing.
[ Tris hasn't looked over yet. ]
no subject
Swablu, however, was not impressed, and let out a loud SQUAARK at the glass dragon before fluttering down with it's cottony wings to the table.]
No fighting, Swablu.
[He turned his head up to nod to the one in the kitchen.]
Thank you. I'm sorry if Swablu bothers your friend. It's too young to really understand things right now.
no subject
Its no trouble. I made them to give to others.
[ Tris turns and looks at what was the 'swablu'. ]
I'm assuming you don't need nestling food for that one.
[ She's raised a baby sparrow, she knows how baby birds are. ]

I'm not quite sure, to be honest. I've cared for young Pokemon before but never newly hatched.
[After all, a Pokemon needed a chance to be mistreated and abused before being brought to him.
Hell he wasn't even sure of the gender of this one yet. Their arrival had been too chaotic for him to really sit down with the fluffy thing properly.]
Swablu seems very interested in those cookies none the less.

Those smell really good.

[ Because she meant them to lure people in.
And yes, the redhead who is pulling another tray out of the wood oven has a glass dragon on her head. Chime peers at him a little, but seems content to stay put. ]
no subject
Thank you very much.
[Colin snatches up a couple of cookies, and before he wolfs one down, he smiles.]
Trying to attract company, or just being generous?
[Social interaction achieved. Initiate OM NOM NOM.]
no subject
A bit of both.
[ Tris sets the tray on the counter, waiting for the cookies to cool a little, and shooing Chime away from the food. ]
I figure people would be inclined to listen to me if I put food in front of them.
no subject
[Magic. Yep, he's got about as much chance of understanding this as he does breathing in space.]

Hello there. [She kind of wonders if something special is occurring over here, but she's not about to ask. (Plus, it probably would drive her off.)]

[ The redhead is working on another tray of them. ]
If you want any, help yourself.
no subject
[She takes one.]
Do you need help, by the way?

[She takes a little apprehensive nibble at the cookie.]
Well, why don't you tell me about the "something else," then?
[Deciding she likes the cookie, she takes a much larger bite out of it.]

Meant to tag earlier but oops road trips
Drem yol lok. What do you busy yourself with this day?
road trips /o/
Cookies. They're like fancy bread.
[ She studies him for a moment. Nice glowing teeth decorations there. ]
I could give you a dozen so you could try them, if you want.
six hour roadtrips ;v;
WRONG S NAMED ACCOUNT. DAMMIT SION.
[ Clearly the answer is to give him six now, and then six as the "second bite" of the cookie. Big dragon is big.
And since he was offering a number, Tris is just going to gather up a handful and wait for him to be ready for her to toss them in. or something. ]
YEAH I WA SCONFUSED FOR A SEC THERE
[Oh, is that how they're going to do things? Well, if she says so. Paarthurnax opens his mouth up just enough for the cookies to be thrown in. It takes a bit of tongue rolling for them to be crushed up and thus tasted, and then he swallows.]
An interesting thing.
