Day 346- Day 352: OPEN
Who: Everyone in the Bastion
Open: Open
When: 346-352
Where: The Bastion in general
What: This is the calm before the storm. Any last conversations with NPCs? Any last things to take care of? Do them here.
Format: action
Warnings: none so far
When you make a thread in this post, please put the names of the NPCs you want to respond in the header of the first comment.
As a note, this is also your last chance to make any changes that will affect how endgame begins. All things that help or hurt the Bastion residents will be tallied up on September 18th, and the final post will go up shortly after that. So if you want to catch the thief, form any alliances with other NPC groups, or anything else, now is the time to do it.

I came up with three arcane items that would be of significant aid to anyone if a survival situation is forced. I was considering doing up some magic weapons and such, but those are more finicky because you still have to know how to use them.
The first is a Travel Cloak. It keeps you warm and dry, it can unfold into a small tent... And it's got two magic pockets. One holds enough food - basic trail rations like nuts and dried berries, nothing special - to power one person for the day, the other's got a flask that'll refill with water or hot sugared tea eight times a day. Not the best tea, though. Still, better than nothing.
Then there's the Bag of Holding. I quickly sewed a couple backpack straps on it, but basically, it's bigger on the inside than out, and the extradimensional magic that handles that also absorbs the weight of up to two hundred and fifty pounds of stuff. That's a bit shy of twice your weight, as a metric. Just don't put anything alive or sharp in it. I don't think I need to explain how being able to carry that much gear at a rather light practical encumberance would help you survive in long expeditions or the worst-case scenario.

You mean I could put everything I own in there, and it would feel like... nothing?
[And it would fit? Tsungi horns are pretty big okay.]

Quite a lot, at least, yeah. You'd need to make sure anything with a sharp tip gets covered, though.
[She's not sure about the horns.]

I'd rather keep my swords on hand anyway.
I'll... see about packing some things, and keep it handy.

I just wanted to do what I could with the shards, so...

You're not the only one.
...thank you.
