What: AZ has decided that it's story time in the Bastion.

Warnings: None that I can think of.


[It's been a long few days. AZ doesn't quite know what to do other than help move things around and try to comfort people as best he can. He's seen too much death, too much sorrow, to really get emotional over it. … And maybe that's wrong, but he and Crona had never had a strong bond. He can't make bonds with everyone - the ones he has are enough to keep him exhausted as he tries to hold on to them.]

[But he's experienced, and experience does have some side benefits. Which is why, as the Bastion approaches evening tonight, AZ has set up a small area near the Monument, with pillows and blankets and some food from the kitchens. It's not elaborate, but it doesn't have to be.]

[And if you're not near the Monument? No need to worry. There are a few signs scattered around the Bastion, with a helpful picture of the Monument and an arrow on them. Hopefully one of the languages on it will be comprehensible, if the pictures aren't enough.]

I see. It's still a very interesting proposition.

I'm guessing that most of those extinct species are... well, maybe not "small," but comparatively not that big, if they're being brought back to life from fossils? I mean, I'd think that would not be considered a good idea if they were large and could be very destructive.

Generally no, though some of them evolve into much larger species. But humans have been training large species of Pokemon for a very long time.

So I see. I don't... really know much about them. Just a little that I've gleaned while here.

Hilda has a Pokedex with her, if you're curious. And I believe Colin has a Pokedex app on one of his tablets. Electronic Pokedexes were made... well after I started training Pokemon. Most of what I know comes from books and personal experience.

You're fortunate. I tend to just let him work it out when I see him in one. ... Though I find time fixes many things.
