[Sometime after lunch, Anya takes off to look for two of her best lady friends with a spellbook under her arm and some key ingredients in her pockets.

She's quite cheerful about it, a little oblivious to whatever else might have been going on lately. Cheerful, and insistent. She will track you down.]

[Later in the day, Bastionites may be surprised to look up and notice that... it's snowing. Not only that, but the temperature has dropped.

At least in the more southerly parts of the Bastion. The farmlands might get a few sporadic flurries, but it isn't cold enough there to stick.

So if you've been missing snowmen or snowball fights or any of those activities that require winter to happen, now's your chance. It's probably not going to last very long.]

[Zuko is taking it easy and avoiding the snowball fights, but letting Kizuna experience the snow as much as she wants to.

But the sight of that big... something rolling around in the snow sends the little dragon scurrying to hide behind Zuko's legs. That mind speech though..]

[He flops over to them, dropping on his belly and looking up.]

[What are bears.

Kizuna peeks out from behind her. Mommy doesn't seem alarmed by this big fluffy thing.]

<It's a polar bear. They live waaaaaay up north in my world.>

[He peeks his head up a bit to look at Kizuna, since bear vision isn't... great.]

You mean the North Pole?

[They might have these on her world. It's not like she would have been able to see one in that blizzard.

Since Mommy seems to be conversing with the fluffy thing, Kizuna decides to approach and sniff it.]

<Yeah, exactly. We had a mission up there.>

[He stays still so she doesn't get spooked. He smells like snow and dirt.]

[Except she's betting Tobias's didn't involve kidnapping anyone for evil purposes.

Kizuna apparently takes his stillness as an invitation to climb aboard! That's what you wanted, right?]

<Huh. Yeah, I'm from a part of the world that doesn't get anywhere close to that cold, which is why we had to get some cold weather morphs.>

[Oh okay. He lifts her a bit as he carefully gets on all fours again. Welcome to being tall, Kizuna.]

Sounds handy. I almost froze to death.

[She says that so off-handedly.

Yesss Kizuna loves being high up. It feels right. She was meant to be tall. Not fluffy, but tall.]

[It's said almost as off-handedly. But it's hard to not huff in amusement at Kizuna. Somehow he manages, though.]

It sounds like an announcement. She seems to think it's important anyway.

<Kind of. In the movie it's basically introducing a song and while it's playing the future king of the animals in the area is getting introduced to the animal subjects.>

[He's not sure how to explain the whole 'the lion is the king of the jungle' thing but... yeah.]

So she's Queen of the Bastion now?

[Since she's basically Zuko's daughter? As long as they're playing around.]

The royal family are usually firebenders, but it's not required for being Fire Lord. At least, it shouldn't be.
