[Sometime after lunch, Anya takes off to look for two of her best lady friends with a spellbook under her arm and some key ingredients in her pockets.

She's quite cheerful about it, a little oblivious to whatever else might have been going on lately. Cheerful, and insistent. She will track you down.]

[Later in the day, Bastionites may be surprised to look up and notice that... it's snowing. Not only that, but the temperature has dropped.

At least in the more southerly parts of the Bastion. The farmlands might get a few sporadic flurries, but it isn't cold enough there to stick.

So if you've been missing snowmen or snowball fights or any of those activities that require winter to happen, now's your chance. It's probably not going to last very long.]

I think it did. You know, in the place where I was originally born.

Can you imagine how depressing it would be to spend a thousand years in the same place?

[Anya takes a drink.]

California? Well, it was sunny and warm most of the time, but I was also living on a hellmouth so the world was constantly on the verge of ending. It was very stressful.

Well, I find it quite peaceful most of the time. I'm not being pressured to fight demons or hell gods or the manifestation of evil and no one's preaching at me for not wanting to risk my fragile human body.

Also, much more guilt-free sex.
