[Sometime after lunch, Anya takes off to look for two of her best lady friends with a spellbook under her arm and some key ingredients in her pockets.

She's quite cheerful about it, a little oblivious to whatever else might have been going on lately. Cheerful, and insistent. She will track you down.]

[Later in the day, Bastionites may be surprised to look up and notice that... it's snowing. Not only that, but the temperature has dropped.

At least in the more southerly parts of the Bastion. The farmlands might get a few sporadic flurries, but it isn't cold enough there to stick.

So if you've been missing snowmen or snowball fights or any of those activities that require winter to happen, now's your chance. It's probably not going to last very long.]

... That doesn't mean you're not. It's not like there can be only one nice person.

But if you said to someone, "you know, the nice one," they might think of you. They wouldn't think of me.

Meanwhile Kizuna has heard them come in and comes over to say hello. Or at least chirp at them from a safe distance from the door. It is cold out there, why is it cold what is cold.]

... They don't have to. My friend Scias doesn't smile much, but he's nice.

[He also betrayed them and then unbetrayed them, but he's still nice!]

[He does crouch down to offer a hand to Kizuna to sniff so he can pet her. Hello, friend!]

[Like her Uncle. Or Aang. Or Aoi. These are nice people who smile a lot.

Pettings are nice, Kizuna will come forward for the pettings.]

There's always exceptions.

[Excellent! Ryu pets her gently, and then moves to tickle her under her chin. Who's a good baby dragon? You are!]

[She still didn't do anything to deserve this.

Kizuna on the other hand has no problems accepting praise. She is the best dragon!]

[He'll gently lift her up so he can nuzzle against her snout. She's so cute! And Ryu has no problems being openly adoring of the cute dragon baby.]

[Kizuna latches onto his arm for better purchase and flicks her tongue out at him at the nuzzles.

So about that apparent lack of smiling? Zuko's definitely smiling watching this.]

I wonder what the other Endless would think of her. I don't think any of the others are as small as she is...

She's only a baby. She has a lot of growing to do.

[Like a lot a lot.]

I'm sure. She'll grow up big and strong like her mother.

[Because Zuko's big and strong so clearly that means this'll happen.]

She's definitely going to be bigger than me.

[Zuko might be tall for a Fire Nation woman but that's not very impressive.]

[You know what? She'll agree with the "strong" part so she's just not going to argue this one.]

[He grins at his victory - because that's clearly a victory, right? - and gives Kizuna another headscratch for the road before standing up again.]
