What: The Helmsman ventures out and comes back with some shinies he's heard so much about.

Regardless of the tension that's flared up because of recent discussions, it seems as though the Helmsman's schedule hasn't changed particularly greatly. Today, just like every other day, he ventures outwards from the Tower. Unlike every other day, however, he doesn't venture off onto Dragonfield or wander about the Bastion or lay face down on the grass. Instead, when he shows up again, it's from the direction of the Skyway and a bruise blossoming on one side of his face.

And then he lays down on the grass where anyone could step on him.

At least it's not just laying, this time. Sparks of red and blue lift up tiny little shards for him to inspect curiously. For anyone in the area, he's not hard to miss.

Just a shrug and then a grating gargling sound. No worries, he's well aware that he's basically fucked on the communication front and trust him... It's just as annoying for him to figure out.

He falls silent for a moment, staying still, before he reaches over, picks up some grass from the ground, and drops it on the Helmsman's head.

Otoha, why.

That seems to make the Helmsman bluescreen, freezing up and just blinking slowly in confusion.

He just laughs a little bit. It's a little bit of an uneasy laughter, but at least it's there.

"... Just messing around."

[polariity]

There's an annoyed cricket sort of sound before tiny bits of grass start getting torn up- a decent good handful of it.

Time for a return grass assault.

[bakegarasu]

He huffs in amusement before throwing another chunk. At least this is a fight that won't end in blood, probably.

[polariity]

Just lots of grass stains. Do you really want to do this, Otoha? Because he seems involved in this now, practically mowing the grass with how much he's tearing off to shove into the man's hair.

[bakegarasu]

Why not? It's innocent, and it's actually kind of nice. He picks up a clump and it ends up being more dirt than grass that he lobs at the Helmsman. It's not a very accurate throw though since he's laughing hard.

[polariity]

There's a small screech and then he's flopping over Otoha in protest. If he had any weight to him, this would sure be a thing, but as it is, well, he's basically a very bony paper towel.

And there's more grass getting in Otoha's face now.

He lets out a whuff of air, and pats the Helmsman on the shoulder. Sure. Whatever.

[polariity]

Whatever your face, because he's not moving from here.

....Possibly because he is now unconscious but whatever.

[bakegarasu]

... Oh. He just... gently shifts the troll off and back onto the grass. He would like to continue his day without being crushed, thanks.

[polariity]

Otoha, he weighs about as much as a trenchcoat. You are absolutely not in danger of being crushed. Ever.

[bakegarasu]

Oh good. But he does have stuff to do so he just... tries to settle the Helmsman in a comfortable position before standing and brushing some of the grass off of himself.
