As was becoming slowly custom, Psii had gone off on his own to lay in grass and wander around a bit. Unlike other times, however, he's actually done something called "social interaction" and, well, that's just about changed everything for the plan today.

It's best demonstrated when he returns to the hive, glancing inside only long enough to make sure that Disciple is both there and awake.

And with that, he starts to float right back out of the apartment.

Yeah, he's still keeping himself faced away from her and being generally annoyed. They're supposed to be using these stupid dumb things to decorate some party, not decorate him.

She creeps backwards, trying to find a red flower anywhere nearby. There, like twenty yards away. It's the wrong size, like the palm of her hand, but it is the perfect red. She inches backwards slowly and calls out like she's not trying to dash away.

"I don't know, I think other colors look good on you too."

She makes a break for it and when she crosses the distance, she snatches up a red flower. She hides it behind her back and faces him expectantly.

There's an answer on the tips of his eyelashes, crackling and forming- and he'll be honest, it's a sex joke. There are times when things are too easy not to take the chance, after all. However, at the sound of her suddenly hauling ass, he twists around and narrows his eyes at the utterly innocent way she's staring at him.

He learned a long time ago never to trust that look, and it's a lesson he hasn't forgotten even with centuries passing.

Carefully, he starts to back up.

"I found more flowers over here!" She gestures with the hand not oh so casually held behind her back. The look on her face only gets more expectant. Wow Psiioniic aren't you going to come see?

She will come and get you so you can come see. Have no fear.

Yeah, you know what? No. Hell no. Hell fucking no. He only looks more wary, eyes narrowing.

"What was that? You're so far away, I can't read it."

Oh two can play at this game Psiioniic. She tucks the flower into her belt casually and lets her hand fall to her side as if she was merely adjusting the back of her belt.

Oh, she can't read it, huh? Let him just- enlarge that- for you then. There's now the equivalent of a large neon sign floating over his head as he replies.

Oh please. She blinks, wide eyed and innocent. She walks closer, shaking her head. She's getting closer Psii. Closer closer.

"Wait, what's bullshit? You're being ridiculous."

Bad feeling. Baaaaaaaad feeling. He floats further back with each step she takes, hunching up like if he's a ball that will somehow save him from whatever devious schemes cats come up with.

She takes bigger steps, walking even slower. He might be skittering back but she's still trying to gain back that space.

"Are you going to run all the way back to Bastion? You're so mean."

Does he have to start getting air time? God help him, he will start to rise higher now. Don't test him!

It's not a false statement. It's just not the whole truth. She stretches her hands above her head and grins at him. Come on, she's so cute Psii. Just come down and say hello.

He wasn't born yesterday, after all. Or even a few sweeps ago. It's been a while.

...Damnit. She pulls it out from behind her back and tucks it behind her ear. It looks rather pretty and flattering contrasting the green of her eyes.

"Only one, I promise. I though it'd be nice to have all the colors you love on you."

She's being loving, don't look at her like that.

At least he finally starts to lower himself, even in arms reach of her. The look he sends her is positively exasperated. All that ridiculous trouble for a flower.

You made a mistake Psii, because she quickly pulls it free and tucks it behind his ear as well. He looks even prettier, even if the flower is a bit oversized.

"No you. And because it looks pretty on you. It's the contrast with your annoyed face. Like a purrbeast with a hat."

If possible, he looks even more annoyed with the addition of a new flower. There's a zap to her fingertips in payback.

Pulling her hand back with a hiss, she nurses it against her chest. Wow how rude of you Psiioniic.

"Ow! And would you decorate me with flowers?"

...Well. Since she's asked and all. His lips quirk up a bit in just the smallest of smirks before an entire shrub is unearthed and hung threateningly over her head.

Well. That's just rude. She traces its path as it moves over head and sprinkles a little dirt on her head. Her eyes narrow.

"I will end you."

But he's still grinning and shaking the shrub over her head, even as another part of his brain snags another yellow flower to see if he can tuck it in her hair while she's not looking.

"I can love you and end you at the same time!" She blinks at the sudden feeling of something strange in her hair but she honestly expects it to be a piece of shrub or a clod of dirt. She gives the shrub a glare and jumps to grab at it. Why? Who's to say.

Missions successful. So it's with something that might actually be a vague grin that he lets her grab onto the shrub, only to make it float higher with her still attached to it.

There's a moment to contemplate how high he will take her and whether she should just let go. She looks down. ...That time was probably a few seconds ago. Unless she rolls. She glances at the sides of the floating land.

"I feel like this is not my fault!"

Just more ugly sniggering. He keeps her up there for a moment longer, confident in her strength that she'll keep, before finally lowering the shrub.
