Guess what chunk of Skyway ended up getting attached to the Bastion when the Bastion was expanded a few days ago.

It's not really visible, since it ended up way on the eastern edge of the Bastion and partially-hidden by the new not!mountains, but when it starts ringing on Day 268 after the supply group has left it will probably be a lot more visible.]

Sounds similar to things over here. Have you guys had any luck locating supplies? Food?

[No harm in grabbing a little intel while he's at this... how on EARTH did the Caelondians manage this kind of tech? There's something else at work here...]

But then, I imagine there may be a language barrier...

Supplies are not something we come across a lot, but there's plenty of animals out here, so we haven't been going hungry.

[Well, other worlds besides the one Caelondia was in were destroyed, so it could be from another world entirely!]

[That does make sense, but if we get multiversal possibilities at play here, Colin's going to go into nerd shock as he plots what he needs to find... and yes, he's still trying to ping the systems involved in moving this call. He knows he doesn't have the tools to tell what's where, but at the very least, he wants to get an idea of what kind of frankensystem he's dealing with...]

Any good landmarks out there? Ruins or anything?

[The system is a hodge-podge of a mess, pieced together from workings from several worlds. Colin will be able to tell that there are several connections to this network of sorts, though, all out in varying locations. None are anywhere near the Bastion or any of the groups' usual tromping grounds, though.]

Well, we're right at the base of a huge mountain? That's pretty significant to me, most mountains didn't survive the Calamity.

A huge mountain? You really must be far off, I haven't seen anything like that around here. I'll see if our resident tracker knows of any big mountains, maybe that can narrow down the area...

[Yeah, he had a feeling. Franken-system was his chosen description for a reason. He'd be really interested in seeing what those other connections may be, but the distance involved complicates that. Sigh, hundreds of miles used to be nothing...]
