Ever since he'd been brought to the hospital in the middle of the night by Aradia and the Disciple, the Helmsman has been quiet. His throat has been in no condition to really speak, which had been one thing, but besides that... Any attempts to speak with him have just earned a narrow eyed look and thinned lips, although he'd gone along with attempts to feed him and put him into some cleaner clothes.

Apparently, today's the day that changes because anyone going about their business in the Bastion is liable to notice the gray-skinned and horned alien laying facedown in the middle of the little settlement. The clothes he's wearing are far too big for his food-deprived skinny body but despite what it looks like, he is breathing and is alive.

Don't mind him, he's just gonna be here for a while. If you trip, well, that's your problem. Suck it up.

[Eventually she's going to process just how weird this whole floaty thing is, but worry takes precedent! The Distillery is the first building she catches sight of so she makes a beeline for it with her bleeding companion in tow.

She lets go of him and darts into the Distillery on her own once she gets there, leaving Psii behind for all of the thirty seconds it takes her to find and reemerge with a cloth, which she immediately shoves onto his bleeding face.] Hold that there!

[There's a weird look at the offering of the cloth- as much as something shoved into his face can be called an "offering"- before that same red-blue energy takes it from her to awkwardly hold it against his face. There's not too much pressure, but he's still doing what he's been told.]

[Now... what?]

[amphibian]

No, you gotta put pressure on it or it won't help. Just—keep that there til it quits bleeding, okay? [it's probably bleeding? she knows so little about alien bodily functions.] Why'd you do that?

[polariity]

[But- he can't is the problem here. Not even strength either psionically while the goggles on and not physically for... who knows. Still, he tries, and at the question he just points to the flush on his face and then to her.]

[amphibian]

[It takes her a couple of seconds to make the connection.] Oh—oh! Just 'cause I was confused doesn't mean you had to hurt yourself, though..! Like, it's not a big deal if I'm confused!

[Well, if you say so, lady. There's a crackle of psi that tries to explain that it doesn't really hurt anyway, but he dismisses it halfway through. She's not going to understand it anyway.]

[For now, after a few moments, he pulls the rag away and probes at the puncture wounds with his split tongue. It already seems to be healing along pretty quickly, or at least it's stopped bleeding.]

[amphibian]

[She makes a soft hm! noise at the crackle, tilting her head and leaning in just so to get a better look—but then it's gone and she's back to fussing over his wound.]

Hey! Don't poke at it, you're just gonna make it wor—oh. [She knows so little about aliens, but if it's done bleeding, that's a good thing, anyway?] ...You're still not s'posed to poke at it.

[A relaxed shrug, but then he nods. Okay, he'll listen. Until he doesn't, anyway.]
