[Rob would never have predicted that Ippo was once like that. He seemed like a fighter with plenty of self-confidence. Then again, at first glance some might take Rob for a football player or a fighter himself (he was certainly capable of intimidating people with that assumption, at least), so appearances could certainly deceive.
