[Jay's been bored, but he's found a way to alleviate that: he has decided he'll take up music again. This means he's been going around to people's houses and knocking politely.]

[Upon the door being opened, he'd put on his best smile and speak up.]

Darling! You wouldn't happen to have any musical instruments just, ah ... lying around unused, would you?

[Or something to that effect.]

[The apartment Takane and Haruka shared was always fairly quiet. Between Takane's penchant for sleeping long hours and Haruka's tenancy to get wrapped up in his drawing, there was rarely ever much noise coming from their place.

So Jay's initial knock may have been received by that relative silence, making an illusion of the apartment being unoccupied at the moment. A chair would scrape on the floor after a pause, though, and the door clicked open to reveal a young teen of tousled hair and big amber eyes.]

... an instrument? Mn... no. Sorry. What kind were you looking for?

Nobody here is musically inclined, it seems! Only me.

Ohhh. I don't think that's true. Some one put a piano in the gazebo. Maybe no one else has their instruments with them anymore?

[Haruka tilts his head a little, putting a finger to his lips]

Which is kind of sad, because this place could use some music. I don't even think Takane's music player works anymore...

Yes! It would be lovely to hear music, again. Alas--

Maybe we could ask for instrument shard donations!

Oh! That'd be wonderful. We could get good instruments! Maybe enough for a chamber orchestra!

You really think we could get that much? That would be amazing! I've never seen an orchestra in person!

I'm sure we could, dearest! We just have to do some legwork, first.

I wouldn't mind doing that! ... well. As long as it doesn't mean going out on the Skyway.
