[Jay's been bored, but he's found a way to alleviate that: he has decided he'll take up music again. This means he's been going around to people's houses and knocking politely.]

[Upon the door being opened, he'd put on his best smile and speak up.]

Darling! You wouldn't happen to have any musical instruments just, ah ... lying around unused, would you?

I probably couldn't move a piano, so that last part is really just as well. However, I can't say I've any musical instruments, nor have I seen any about lately.

That said, there's most definitely ways of getting hold of them anyway.

I'm reasonably certain that it is very possible to spend shards to obtain musical instruments. It shouldn't cost very many, either. If you've need of some, I've amassed a decent collection which I haven't had too much use for.

'Burden' me? I'd hardly put it that way. I just haven't had much use for them. However, I am fully open to sharing them.

I suppose first we'd best look into how much what you would want would cost, though.

Oh. True. Ah, not much, I hope? It's just wood and guts ... violins aren't very ... er, they don't require a lot of materials. The thing is the craftsmanship.

I can't imagine it being very expensive. Most items are not, and something so normal as an instrument should not be too costly.
