[After spending the afternoon with Bon at the pool, Rin returned to the kitchen to prepare the evening meals with every intent to go back home once she was done for the day. Of course she hadn't planned on any interruptions.

Really, she should have known better.

Dinner more or less finished, her damp hair still in a bun from swimming, she almost missed the movement happening in the front of the Distillery the first time some one went by.

When it happened the second and third time, though, she finally thought to poke her head out the connecting door to see who was skulking around.]

... oh. It's you.

[But that was bad enough. Hence why she's been feeling this way. As she said, most people were too scared to even approach her back home, let alone touch her in any way be it a sexual advance or not.

[And there's that dark look Bon sometimes gets, when he's so angry he can't really express himself well.]

Rin willingly leaves her hoodie-cocoon to grab his arm, hopefully stopping him from heading for the door.]

[He had started to stand up, but he stops when Rin grabs him. That hand is still in a fist though.]

No, he's going to get his face pounded in.

[He thinks Rin is trying to stop him from kicking Angelo's ass, which may not work at the moment, unless Rin says something compelling.]

We don't know anythin' about him! He could be completely normal or he could have freaky powers just like me! I don't want you gettin' hurt just cause I couldn't stand up for myself!

But some part of him knows that Rin is right. Despite how buff he is, there are definitely many people stronger than him here, and he could easily get hurt.]

Someone needs to tell him that he shouldn't be messing with you.

[She would be lying if she said she didn't actually really appreciate what he was willing to do for her.

But at the same time she feels like she needs him here right now.

The hand at his arm becomes her own arms wrapped around it, face pressing in to it with a strained, upset noise.]

Ryuuji... just stay here with me? Please?

[Okay, that gets him to stop. The desire to go deal with this guy is secondary to Rin being okay. Finally his fist unclenches, and he reaches over with his other hand to cover one of Rin's.]

...alright. But later it'll happen.

[At least he's staying. She honestly would have started crying if he left her at that moment.]

[Aww Rin. Bon will turn a little, so that he can hug her.]

I'll be as careful as I can, though maybe we'd have more luck as a team. I hold, you punch?

[Hugs from boyfriend are good. Hugs from boyfriend make her feel less gross and violated because he is a good guy and she's eternally grateful to have him in her life.]

Rin tugs on his shirt a little, looking up to grin at him.]

See I was thinkin' more like... makin' use of the mostly empty apartment and the fact that you need to take your clothes off anyway.
