It is subjective.

Say in order to save ten lives, you have to kill one person. No matter which choice you make, some people are going to think you're a bad person for making it. You were willing to kill someone for any reason? Terrible. You let people die because your morals prevented you from making a sacrifice? How dare you.

You might think there are scenarios where no one would disagree with you, but a lot of "bad people who do bad things" don't see it that way.
