Day 214
Who: Zulf, some birds and a Pokemon, and you
Open: Open (and a couple closed)
When: 214, midday
Where: By the Monument
What: In which things are written out, birds are a nuisance, and visits are made for numerous reasons
Format: Any
Note: Some time ago, Seimei asked Zulf to write down things about the world the Calamity originated in, aka Caelondia and the Tazal Terminals. Since this information is available to everyone (although written in Caelondian and Ura), you can consider this post as a reference! It's also available as a request sort of thing, if you or your characters have any inquiries about culture, technology, or lore about either place. It'd also help me out with what to write for Seimei (and the mun of Seimei) since, when asked where to start, his IC answer was basically "everything".
----------
Ever since returning from the sudden expedition a week or so ago, Zulf has been quiet. Not completely and utterly silent, like he's become on occasion- just quiet. There's been a lot of things to think about.
Today, however, at least he's out in public, seated by the Monument. There are papers by him, things written in both Caelondian and the Ura language. There's also some sketches of different outfits alongside them. He's steadily working on both.
Anyone is more than welcome to come over and investigate...
Assuming the large group of Rattle-tails doesn't try to swarm towards them first. Yes, they're here too, a mix of sizes. Yes, there's a tiny little Cubone on top of one of them, waving its bone around energetically. Don't worry, Zulf will give a sharp whistle when they start to swarm and they... should back off before anyone gets slammed into by a giant white bird.
[Locked for Zahi andor Zanya]
After a day of writing, talking, and bird wrangling, Zulf finally finishes and goes to retrieve something. It's just a basket of things gathered up from the Skyway, vineapples and such. When he gets to a certain Ura abode, he knocks on the door.
[Locked for Zia and Raile]
And with that done... Zulf does the search for two of his most important people. Don't think he hasn't noticed some awkwardness floating around here.

You really don't know me.

An illness we aren't familiar with could tear through the Bastion, killing possibly everyone.
We could be invaded.
Someone could critically damage the Monument, making it impossible for the Bastion to fully recover.
Something could happen to Nate and Rucks, leaving us helpless if anything happens to the Bastion.
Someone else's end of the world could hit us just like the Calamity hit everyone else.
Whatever is keeping the Bastion and the Skyway floating suddenly fails, and most of us would plummet to our deaths.
I'm assuming that Paarthurnax could easily kill all of us if he decided to do so... Although that's admittedly the thing I'm least worried about which shows how twisted up my world view has become since all of this started.
Someone in our midsts could snap and turn against us, or just slit all our throats in our sleep.
Somehow the Calamity could happen. Again.
We might all somehow get cancer and die.
I could keep going, but the end point is that I don't put much stock into the idea of us having time.

[Though, note to self: no firebending at Colin.]

Besides, if we don't think about them to some degree, then we'll just be caught offguard if something happens.

Say we did drop out of the sky. Should we have an airship standing by? Special instructions for people who can fly? What are you going to do about any of it?

[Zulf pls]
We do have the barge, so no doubt some people could possible use that if it didn't get damaged in the chaos. Yes, there are also people who can naturally fly here, such as Roze and Paarthurnax, so they would be able to help no doubt. Anyone out on the Skyway would be doomed unless they're one of the fliers.

They would be now, but maybe they don't have to be. Isn't this a problem people have had to deal with after inventing any sort of flying machine?

I mean when people have airships and then spaceships... If the ship goes down, you don't want the crew to die with it, right? [Airships were new where she comes from and the Fire Nation was not known for safety precautions, but surely someone's thought of it? Also don't mind her understanding of space being kind of. flawed.]

I suppose so... I don't have much knowledge about things like that, however.

[She says this grudgingly.]

Colin... is only in that position because he knows things that most of us don't. He should be an advisor, not a leader.

I just don't think he leads well.
