What: No one died during the horrible plague scare! That's reason enough for a feast and a mingle log right?

[Someone has been busy today. The kitchen and Distillery has been noisy and bustling, a departure from the much more quiet days when the illness was spreading through the Bastion and survival was once more on the uncertain scale of things. Somewhere around the time that the night cycle begins, when the sky is more of an orange-ish glow fading in to blue and purple, a large spread of food has been set up near the Distillery with glass lanterns hanging overhead.

Just like any other time there has been a feast be it random or planned, there is a wide selection of food on the covered, decorated tables. There's even meat this time! And yes, Aoi, your doughnuts have been transferred from your trees to a platter on the table. There's even a section for Paar, complete with massive amounts of bbq'd mammoth meat! You can thank Colin for that.

There's really no announcement for the feast, but chances are if you're outside at any point today you'll see the progress towards the set up, or smell the delicious scents wafting over the Bastion. (There might even be music playing, if Colin finds a way to provide it!)

Either way, come dusk food will be ready and mingling will be had!]

Yeah. True Cross Academy. There was a regular school attached to the cram school that we all went to.

And you lived there?

Yeah, on the campus. There were dorms for the students since it was usually away from home for most of them.

I never really thought of there being schools like that.

Boarding schools usually need some kinda scholarship to get in to, or a really rich relative.

When a group gives you money to go to school instead'a makin' you pay for it.

[He didn't know they cost money at all but that makes sense if you live there. It's like rent and stuff, right?]

[Basically. It's complicated and weird and there's no one universal rule to how schools are run in her world. But True Cross Academy is as she described it at least.]

It was okay. I wasn't ever plannin' on goin' there but I didn't have a choice in the end.

I got to stay with Yuki at least, so I wasn't gonna complain that much. Better than bein' completely alone.

Going to school with Sora might've been- kinda fun. At least then you've got someone to go through it all with you, right?

Yeah. And I made friends at the cram school. Like Ryuuji...

[And now they were together, even if it had taken the end of the world to get there.]

Uhm... we got together about a month after I got here, I think? Something like that. Might'a been two.

Aren't you supposed to keep track of that one? So you can have, like... anniversaries and stuff.

If we were back home maybe. [Rin shrugs] We're together now, that's all that's important to me.

Well, I think it's nice to have stuff to celebrate, especially now.

Yeah. Plus it must feel really special, being with someone that long.
