What: No one died during the horrible plague scare! That's reason enough for a feast and a mingle log right?

[Someone has been busy today. The kitchen and Distillery has been noisy and bustling, a departure from the much more quiet days when the illness was spreading through the Bastion and survival was once more on the uncertain scale of things. Somewhere around the time that the night cycle begins, when the sky is more of an orange-ish glow fading in to blue and purple, a large spread of food has been set up near the Distillery with glass lanterns hanging overhead.

Just like any other time there has been a feast be it random or planned, there is a wide selection of food on the covered, decorated tables. There's even meat this time! And yes, Aoi, your doughnuts have been transferred from your trees to a platter on the table. There's even a section for Paar, complete with massive amounts of bbq'd mammoth meat! You can thank Colin for that.

There's really no announcement for the feast, but chances are if you're outside at any point today you'll see the progress towards the set up, or smell the delicious scents wafting over the Bastion. (There might even be music playing, if Colin finds a way to provide it!)

Either way, come dusk food will be ready and mingling will be had!]

[Edea leans forward and taps playfully at those paws.]

[Bwee! She runs around in a circle. Any way of playing is fun!]

You're gonna have to help me out here. You're the first Pokemon I've met, and I've never had a pet before.

[Because Artemia doesn't count as a pet, she is just... a very animal-like human being through odd circumstances. Boy is her extended family weird.]

[But she can't speak human! She sits and tilts her head.]

Hm... How about you show me how your owner plays with you?

[She can do that! She turns, facing away from Edea, and wiggles her butt before taking off. Chase! Chase as fast as you can!]

[Okay the butt wiggle was cute. After eating so much rich and sweet food Edea is not too keen on being fast. She is, however, still fairly good at small and decisive movements. So up she goes from her chair and off after the Pokemon.

Essentially she'll never quite catch Eevee, but she can keep up enough to keep the it on its toes.]

[She yips as they run, dodging under and around chairs, and after a while turns and tackles Edea's legs. Yaaaay!]

[Edea makes a show of falling down when she's tackled. It's quite over-dramatic but in an obviously silly way.]

Alas, I've been slain! My only regret is that I didn't have one more sugar cookie.

[She laughs, yipping and nuzzling Edea. You're silly. She likes you.]

[She's laughing as well, and giving Eevee a few pets for good measure.]

[She yips an affirmative. Yes! Yes she did! ... Ooh, pets.]

[When she next exhales it's big and deep but not quite a sigh. For a while Edea just lays there on the ground, petting the Pokemon and feeling herself relax (...and hoping nobody steps on them).]
