What: No one died during the horrible plague scare! That's reason enough for a feast and a mingle log right?

[Someone has been busy today. The kitchen and Distillery has been noisy and bustling, a departure from the much more quiet days when the illness was spreading through the Bastion and survival was once more on the uncertain scale of things. Somewhere around the time that the night cycle begins, when the sky is more of an orange-ish glow fading in to blue and purple, a large spread of food has been set up near the Distillery with glass lanterns hanging overhead.

Just like any other time there has been a feast be it random or planned, there is a wide selection of food on the covered, decorated tables. There's even meat this time! And yes, Aoi, your doughnuts have been transferred from your trees to a platter on the table. There's even a section for Paar, complete with massive amounts of bbq'd mammoth meat! You can thank Colin for that.

There's really no announcement for the feast, but chances are if you're outside at any point today you'll see the progress towards the set up, or smell the delicious scents wafting over the Bastion. (There might even be music playing, if Colin finds a way to provide it!)

Either way, come dusk food will be ready and mingling will be had!]

[ That's something Hilda had expected. She'd gotten used to separating the meat out with dinner, so that N would feel more comfortable with it all. Ohhh, her vegetarian boyfriend. She loved him anyway. ]

Yeah. It's a party. Most good parties have a lot of people attending them.

[ She moves over to Zoroark, holding a hand out to offer to pet him, if he wanted that. If not, they could just hug or something. She wasn't picky. She just wanted to show Zoroark some attention. ]

I know. I guess I underestimated how many people are here now.

It's good, though. That many more people are safe from the Calamity.

[Zoroark lets out a very happy noise, maw open in a great big grin.]

It's good that this place can change to accommodate. It's much larger than when we first arrived.

It really is! It's amazing. We can rebuild and keep going.

Maybe one day this world will be populated with Pokemon the way ours was.

That would take more resources than we currently have available. It's a hope for the future but right now we have to make sure we can handle the population we currently have.

We're doing pretty good with the ones we've got though, right? And some of them have been adopted already, too.

I was worried at first... but I realized there is a blessing in giving them to people who have no experience in being trainers. In a strange way, this is the sort of world I would have wanted after I met you - a world in which Pokemon and humans were equals.

[And Zoroark is just going to soak up all those pets like crazy.]

[ N is doge. Forever. Hilda did have to think about what he said before responding, though, because as much as she loved her world, she had to admit he did have a point to Humans and Pokemon not exactly being equals in many instances. She slowly nodded. ]

Yeah, I think it's good. We can help them, too, if they need it.

[ Going for the world series in Zoroark petting. ]

[It was a legitimate problem. Just one that was blown way out of proportion by Team Plasma for Ghetsis' ends.]

Have you been checking on them? Are they doing well? I know some eggs hatched in the hospital.

Yeah, a couple of eggs did hatch. I did go in on my own time and checked on the both of them while they were in Quarantine, and the Pokemon seemed to be very happy and healthy. Oh!

[ She looks up to N excitedly. ]

Also, Rin's Tepig ... he's a different color.

A mutation? That's rare. I wouldn't have expected that given our limited numbers. Your Emboar must carry the gene for it.

He might! I had to explain to Rin that there's nothing wrong with her Tepig, he's just a different color. He seems really happy with her, too. Same with Oshawott. I think the both of them are going to be great trainers to Tepig and Oshawott.

[ She smiles a little, fondly, then drops her hand and stops petting Zoroark, moving back to N's side. ]

She's been here the longest of anyone, hasn't she? I don't know her well but I imagine that sort of companionship is welcome after being here for such a long time.
