Day 203 | The sick are recovering! (Open)
WHO: Colin, any recovering folks, any visitors.
OPEN: Open like a door
WHEN: Day 203 (BACKDATED)
WHAT: The cure has been found and administered. Check up on the sick, why don't you?
WHERE: The hospital
FORMAT: However you want, go nuts
WARNINGS: Recovering people, probable sass, and of course, Colin.
After six days of paranoia, and three days of absolute terror, things were finally looking up. A cure had been delivered, and with it, the calamity survivors had been able to synthesize more than enough doses of cure for the plague to safeguard the Bastion. It had been administered to the sick, and now all that was needed was to make sure that everyone recovered.
Colin, of course, was going to be visiting everyone to make sure that there weren't any complications. It wouldn't do to have anyone in danger after they'd made it through to the end. He had yet to take off his environmental suit though, his own paranoia was significant.
(OOC: I figure this will be a good opportunity for people to do a little more mingling, and get their bearings after the plague. The quarantine has been lifted, though Colin still wants people washing their hands frequently. If you want Colin to check up on the sick, he can do that! If you want someone else to check up on the sick, by all means! The threat is passed, now rejoice, hug your sick loved ones, and let's move on!)

[Oshawott grin at his brother and points both nubby arms in Yukio's direction, immediately telling a squeaky little tale full of wide gestures and rather exaggerated poses. Yukio doesn't take much notice since he can't understand what's being said, but it basically amounts to "I told Yukio to sleep and he did it because I'm awesome".]

[She's not too keen on having no energy, but it's hard to be irritated with Yukio in such a good mood.
Tepig listens intently, but at the end there's a bit of snort. Getting some one to sleep doesn't make you "awesome" bro.]
no subject
[Oshawott lets his arms drop, slumping a little and fixing Tepig with a pout. Man, you don't know how little his trainer sleeps. You don't even know.]
no subject
When can I go home? Are you even lettin' anyone go yet?
no subject
Soon. I think some people will be able to go by tomorrow, so I'd count on at least another day or two.
no subject
[Yeah he doesn't believe you, Oshawott.]
Another day or two? Uuugh... I'm so bored!
no subject
It's not much in the grand scheme of things, Neesan. Just be patient. You can watch movies or something to pass the time.
no subject
Tepig just snorts a little flame and wanders outside of the room to do whatever it is Tepigs do when they're sulking.]
Hey Oshawott. Hope my brother ain't bein' too much trouble for you.
[Tease tease tease]
I've been doin' that. And readin' manga! I got all the way through Petshop of Horrors!
[Completely unaware that there's a second series.]
no subject
Both series'? I'm impressed, Neesan.
no subject
Still, that comment is going to get an eyebrow raise.]
There's only one, right? I read all the chapters already.
no subject
Shaking is head.]
No, there's a second one called Petshop of Horrors: Tokyo.
no subject
[She must have missed that.
As for Oshawott, though, she notices him having trouble. She doesn't take the pad away from him, but she does press a few buttons until she can find a game that actually is doing just that - touching the screen to make things happen.]
There. Play with that.
no subject
[Shruuuug.
Oshawott blinks a few times, watching with obvious curiosity as Rin manipulates the datapad. The game she's brought up is a simple one, just a bubble-popping game, but it's perfect for the little otter's needs. He prods the screen tentatively at first, but soon he's going to down with a great big grin on his face.]
no subject
'course I was like. What? 10? I don't think Dad woulda been okay with me readin' horror manga.
[That's adorable, Oshawott. Rin smiles at him, giving his head an affectionate rub while letting him continue with the game.]
I tried to get Tepig to play this one but hoofs make it difficult.
no subject
[Yukio leans over to see what Oshawott's playing, filing that nugget away for future reference. If he'd known that all his Pokemon wanted to do was poke bubbles, he would've let Oshawott play much sooner.]
Do his hooves even register on the touch screen?
no subject
Not really. They're not hard hooves, though. They're actually softer than you'd think.
no subject
That's strange. I wonder if it's just because he's young or if they'll stay soft.
no subject
I can't remember what it was like for Emboar... but I could ask Hilda.
