They usually ended up liking the same things, so it was probably only a matter of time before Hikaru warmed up to Seimei. But if Hikaru came to like Seimei as much - and in the same way - as Kaoru did? He usually had absolutely no qualms with sharing or even conceding to his brother, but on this? On Seimei? He would have a hard time.

It was hard enough just sacrificing their closeness until Hikaru got comfortable with the idea of Them - he even had to fight the urge to be selfish sometimes.

"I hope there's something there for you," he squeezed Seimei's hand lightly, "We brought enough stuff back from our own world - it would be nice to have something of yours. Do they keep many artifacts in Izumo? Or… well they might not have been artifacts then, but they are now…"
