[ She stood there, frozen, eyes wide and breathing heavy.

Takane didn't know what had happened. One moment, she was turning around to make her way out of the school. The next ... she was here.

In a place she didn't recognize.

In a place that was ...

She didn't even know how to describe it.

Takane slowly turned around, eyes scanning the area she now found herself in. Did she fall asleep again? Was she dreaming?

No, she had to wake up. Haruka was at the hospital. She needed to go see him! She had to find him and tell him-- ]

AUGH! Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, WAKE UUUUUUP!

[ ... But clearly, that wasn't working. Takane frowned. Okay. She started walking, looking around. Maybe if she walked around long enough, she'd wake up.

Or figure out what was going on.

No way this wasn't a dream or something, though. She'd have to wake up sometime.

Takane walked for a while, keeping an eye out for anything that might clue her in as to what was going on. She didn't find one.

But she did find something else.

The moment she saw him, her eyes widened again and she could have sworn her heart stopped. She rushed over to the limp, unmoving form of her love friend, placing a hand on his arm and shaking him a little.

He couldn't be here. Not really. This was just a dream, right? Haruka was in the hospital.

Still, her emotions at seeing him like this were very real. ]

H-Hey ... Hey, Haruka ... Haruka, wake up ...

[ Tears welled up in her eyes again, and she roughly took him into her arms, shaking him a little more. ]

Haruka ... Haruka! Hey! Wake up, Haruka!

[ Those tears rolled down her cheeks. No, nonono. He wasn't waking up. This was a dream, and she still couldn't do anything. She was totally useless. ]

HELP!

[ She screamed out the word, looking around to see if maybe anyone was around to hear it. ]

HELP! WE NEED HELP! SOMEONE, ANYONE, PLEASE! P-Please ...

Closing wounds, helping someone up after battle... anything with the heart or cutting someone open is something you would probably die from where I'm from.

[He knows his world is behind on technology. Medicine isn't really past the herbal stage.]

I can carry him and get him there fast if you need.

I'll be able to give you a chemical composition, maybe, once I have a chance to examine the nanites. But they were operating on the nano-level, disassembling and correcting the damage in parts, rather than whole.

If I hadn't given the nanites such extreme operating conditions, I might be able to give you more, but if I hadn't done that... Well, she'd probably be dead. Normally, the anti-toxin protocols have to know what they're dealing with so they can be precise in treatment. Doing it this way purges everything that isn't supposed to be in her system, and it doesn't stop to take notes. Bad if you wanna know what it was, good if you absolutely have to save someone with an unknown toxin.

[He rubs his hand over his face, and he looks to Ryu.]

Yeah, these two are going to need a hospital, even the girl isn't completely out of the woods yet. Just... stable. Can your healing restore... uh.... pep? Give them an energy kick, something to wake them up?

[He looks at Yukio apologetically again.]

Sorry, like I said... WAY out of my expertise.

[Yukio shakes his head at Colin's apology.] As long as she's alive, that's all that really matters for now.

[Because from the sound of it? She wouldn't have made it if Colin had waited until Yukio got there, and even if she had, the exorcist had no way of clearing her system quickly enough.

A nod to Ryu.]

We need to go fast, but he also needs to be handled as gently as possible. These incisions are too fresh for rough handling. If your healing spell can help stabilize him, do it.

It might help with energy a little, but it should close things enough so that they can be moved.

[His clawed hand glows for a moment, before he points it at the boy. While it's not a complete healing, it's enough to at least start closing wounds and make him feel a bit better.]

I hope they were just giving him saline or something... If he was getting a transfusion, he may be in trouble.

[Colin makes a face at that, and nods.]

I can probably whip together a stretcher or a something to carry him. Her I can carry solo, if needbe.

[Yukio takes another look at the boy's incision, watching with some fascination as the skin begins to seal over somewhat. That kind of accelerated healing doesn't exist where he comes from. Not without demonic heritage fueling it.]

Good. [Another nod.] He's staying with us for now, so let's move before we draw any unwanted attention.

A two-man stretcher's would be best.

Just tell me what to do. I can change my form back, but I'll probably be too tired to do much else to help. I also can't use healing spells outside of this form.

[He does touch down to the ground at least. Standing takes less energy than floating.]

For now, stick with these two. I'll get everything we need for a stretcher. Corsicans come prepared.

[More work, THIS he can do and do well. Stretchers are basic medical training too, nothing tough, just a little bit of gathering, and oh look, there's scattered medical equipment around too.]

... Yukio, Have a look at what's left from their world? If there's anything here we can salvage, it'll be useful for us. Ryu, help out with that too?

At least, as much as you can while keeping an eye on the kids.

[Yukio goes to work immediately, eyes constantly flicking to his patients on the ground as he began to quickly pick through what scattered equipment he can find nearby. It's a bit of a crapshoot, with some items broken or just useless on their own, but several items find their way into one of the many pouches on his belt for safekeeping.]

[Ryu nods, heading over and picking up everything that looks helpful. Most of this stuff isn't anything he's ever seen, so most of what he's grabbing probably isn't useful, but maybe some will help.]
