I mean he'd give people charms and stuff to "keep bad spirits away" and he'd leave for long periods of time for reasons I didn't know about, but when he mentioned any of it I just blew it off as a buncha fake stuff he'd tell people to make them feel better 'bout bad things.
"Hard to fight against things that don't exist," I'd tell him and he'd just laugh at me and say demons sure did exist.
