[Day 158 | OPEN] What Even Happened
Who: Jason Grace and you!
Open: Open
When: 158
Where: Open Plains
What: Jason has no idea what is going on.
Format: Action, but will go with the flow
Warnings: None?
[Jason has to admit that this has got to be the weirdest moment of his life, and that's saying a lot. Like. What in Olympus just happened? One minute they're about to go off to Mount Olympus in Greece, and the next he's...waking up in the plains instead of his room on the Argo II.
What.
He stands up and pats himself down, and he's glad to know that all of his stuff is with him. His memories seem to be intact, too. As far as he knows. Ugh, he really hopes they weren't messed with again. Having Hera steal them once is enough for one lifetime, okay.
The demigod looks around in unconcealed bewilderment. Just where on earth is he supposed to go, now? He doesn't want to shout for his friends, as he's sure he'll get jumped by monsters or something if he did that. Jason sighs, glances around, and decides to start walking forward. Maybe he'll run into a friendly place or something. Or, even better, run into his friends.]

She's on her way back now, empty-handed save for a small collection of shards, when she spots the newcomer. By his yellow hair, she realizes immediately that he isn't anyone she knows, but she thinks she recognizes that attitude of confusion.
Well, it may not be what she was hoping for, but she can still spare the time to help out. Maybe she won't feel so useless.]
Hey. You know where you're going?
no subject
Not at all. I just woke up here, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't near any plains.
no subject
You're not likely to be near much of anything familiar. This isn't your world anymore.
[She's glancing around as she catches up to him.]
And unless you like monsters, we should get a move on. Come on.
no subject
I'm getting that sneaking suspicion.
[Jason follows her. He has no idea where he's going, and she obviously does. Hopefully, this won't be a trap.]
So...what is this place?
no subject
There's no easy way to say this, but everything you know is most likely gone.
[She glances at him for a reaction, but it's only a glance. She's keeping her eyes peeled for monsters.]
There are some survivors in a place called the Bastion. That's where we're headed.
no subject
What happened to cause all of this?
no subject
Something called the Calamity. Someone who's been here longer could probably tell you more about it.
[Spotting a few squirts a ways away, she puts a hand to her sword hilts, but they seem to be keeping their distance for now.
Jason can probably see the Bastion coming into view ahead of them, a collection of buildings on another large chunk of land.]
no subject
That something happens to be a teenage girl, and she happens to be running right towards Jason. Or, more accurately, she is running away from some monsters and Jason just happens to be along the way back to the Bastion.
She is also carrying a side-bag, which seems to be full of things.]
Hey! Whoever you are, you better start running!
[Her yelling comes between heavy breaths. It's hard to shout and run.]
no subject
One: A girl, most likely mortal, is running from some monsters he's never seen before.
Two: They're obviously going to try to kill the both of them.
Three: Jason can see only two choices. Stand and fight, or run with the girl.
Four: He really hopes they're not immune to electricity.
Five: This is probably the stupidest thing he's ever done when saving someone who might not even believe that he can summon lightning.
Jason unsheathes his gladius, just in case his lightning doesn't get all of them. He concentrates, thunder booms, and then a bolt of electricity slams down right where those Squirts are. Staggering a little, he makes his way to the girl to better defend her if he has to, and to make sure she didn't get hurt.]
Are you alright?
no subject
She skids to a stop when she sees Jason step forward, though. No point in running past, she's got to get him going too.
When she speaks, it's a bit hurried, because she's expecting more monsters to show up shortly.]
I'm fine, but there's a whole flock of evil birds coming this way, and unless you want to be bird food then we should get moving.
Cool lightning trick, by the way.
no subject
I'm not exactly in the mood for that, no. I'll follow you, since you know where you're going.
no subject
[She's not full-out running anymore, since the threats are further behind now, but she'll still keep a quick pace while they head towards the Bastion.]
You see how the ground's all in pieces and stuff? Well, this place kind of...exploded is the best word for it, I guess. If you fall, you'll fall into nothingness, so watch your step.
