[Some days are made for being lazy. AZ is taking advantage of one of those days right now. The giant man is sitting next to the monument, some paper sitting both nearby and on his knee. He has a piece of charcoal in his hand, held carefully so as to not lose it. With great care, he starts sketching on the paper.]

[A few finished sketches sit nearby, depicting the Bastion with people around it. He's good enough that it's not hard to tell who's who, though the features might be smudged a bit. Some are people he's spoken to, but given how quiet and solitary he usually is, most are just of people he's seen.]

[Bother him?]

[There is! Mostly just either his head or off in the distance. AZ hesitates a little bit - a dragon type or a flying type, based on looks alone. But it speaks, which really makes him confused - so it's either psychic, or a legendary, or not a Pokemon at all. Best to treat this one carefully.]

[Well... 'legendary' is a word for it, certainly.]

I am doing well. The skies rarely treat me unfavorably in this place, and I see more with every venture. [A small bob of his head, meant to be towards the paper.] Do you draw often?

[gianthobo]

[It's better to air on the safer side, especially since Paarthurnax is massive, even compared to him.]

I see. That's good.

[He shakes his head in answer to the question.]

Not too often. But then, I'm not usually in one place for long. Drawing is good for... remembering things, though.

Greh, such a thing has been proven many times. I have seen such things myself- people carving pictures into walls so that important memories may stay alive for many years.

[gianthobo]

Most people don't cave things into stone anymore, aside from sculptures and gravestones.

[He's quiet for a moment, thinking of the graves on Kalos' Route 10. It was his brother who erected them, not him. ... He was the one who should have put them up. Another thing on his list of regrets.]

I have a lot of things to remember.

Then you have much to draw. What is it that you draw now?

... The others I see here. I... I'm not the best at meeting new people.

Give it time. We are few here. If it reassures you, those I have met are of good soul.

[It's all right if he opens up a little, isn't it? Floette would want him to... and this... creature (person?) isn't human, so it's not like he has as much danger from him in terms of judgement.]

I have wandered for thousands of years. Staying in one place and growing bonds isn't something I have much experience with.

[wayofvoice]

Ah, you as well then. [A slight gust of air blows out from Paarthurnax's nostrils in a heavy sigh, rustling the papers gathered.] For myself, it has been isolation. Such things are rarely easy.

[gianthobo]

[He reaches over and puts them in a pile, then tucks them under the corner of his shoe. There. No danger of flying away now.]

They aren't. Though... I think things are starting to change. It... was my fault that people were in danger. Some things shouldn't be tampered with.

[wayofvoice]

Now you know this. [Still no judgment. Paarthurnax's voice is just as patient and slow as it ever is.] Now you can atone for your mistakes, and help bring good to this world instead of suffering.

I am trying. There's much to be done here. I've picked up enough practical skills over my travels to have some I can lend to the efforts.

That is good to hear. Should you need assistance, my flights take me to much of the Skyway. I do not mind company, or requests to look for items.

... You... aren't a Pokemon, are you?

I am not. [What even is that anyway] I am dovah, dragon.

[Just dragon, not dragon type.]

[Confusing. But he will try.]

It seems Pokemon aren't common in other worlds. I was wondering why mine got strange looks.

There are indeed no such creatures in the land I am from. Still, they are more than welcome here.

[gianthobo]

We all try not to disturb anyone anyway. Most places aren't really made for people of my size. Or yours, I imagine. So we've learned to adapt.

[wayofvoice]

[What's that weird chuffing sound... Oh, it's Paarthurnax chuckling.]

I have taken to residing in a field, as of late. A mountain would be my preference, but it is not a necessary thing.

I've been staying near the animal pens. As long as it doesn't get cold, I'll be fine.

[If it does... well. That's partly a reason why he has Torkal.]

The weather has been well in all the time I have been here. Perhaps that is one more thing the Calamity has set out of balance.

How long have you been here?

[For all he knows, this could be spring...]

Not as long as some, but a few months I believe. It is hard to tell in this place on occasion.

Ah, that's true. The weather should have changed by now if it was going to change...
