Day 131: the group returns, and a new group arrives

[Day 131 would prove to be an eventful one. Not only did the away group finally return home, but barely a half-hour later a second group of people arrived as well. With all of these two and returning faces, it was bound to get a bit hectic.

But perhaps a bit of talking was all everyone needed to sort everything out.]

Ahh--! I'm sorry I'm sorry!

[Frantically, face damp from tears, Rin flailed off of her, stumbling back with her blanket halfway falling off one shoulder.]

I-I'm just so happy to see you. I thought you were never comin' back!

[hortulan]

[She lets out a sigh when Rin finally eases up on her side and smiles up at her. It hurts, but she can deal with it.] It's okay... just a little tender right now.

[Reaching up she brushes back some of Rin's hair from her face, still smiling softly at her.] Like I could leave you behind. Can't just leave Suguro to be the only one to clean up after you.

[Rin sniffled, rubbing at her face with the heel of her hand. Normally she would have denied up and down that Bon had to do any sort of cleaning up after her, but given what had happened on the trip to the Mancer's Observatory and the state she was still in from that, she knew she was losing that argument already.

Shivering, she tugged the blanket back around her shoulders, leaning in to Night's hand a little.]

Y'still scared the hell outta me... goin' off like that.

[hortulan]

Yeah... I didn't think I'd be gone for that long. [When she was told just how long she was gone she almost didn't believe it at first. It certainly didn't feel like two weeks.

Night moves her hand away and pushes herself over on the bed to make some room for Rin.] You're freezing. Come under here before you catch your death like that.

[hellpyre]

Well... j... just be more careful next time, okay? Or at least take some one with you.

[She could have given a lecture, but really... they were both guilty of doing stupid, reckless shit and Rin knew better than to make Night feel even more guilty.

Pulling the blanket tighter, Rin shuffled closer and slipped on to the bed, curling up as much as she could in the small space.]

Fire suppressant... damn near drowned in the shit. It's been days and I still feel horrible.

[hortulan]

Next time, definitely.

[It's easier to move the subject off of her for now and focus on Rin. She pulls the sheets over both of them, ignoring the sting in her side at all the moving she was doing. She'd be sore for days after she healed over.]

Fire suppressant? What for?

[Luckily Rin wasn't shivering too much, but Night would probably notice a very unsettling lack of warmth from Rin. It was like her inner fire was only working at about half strength.]

We went to the Observatory to look for more clues... one wrong button and the whole hangar nearly got flooded with it.

[Even like this at least her own body temperature wasn't too messed up. At least she'd be more helpful to Rin than a blanket alone.]

Who else was with you?

[At least until Tris helps her later, yes.

Rin lets out a yawn, nuzzling in to Night's side carefully.]

Colin... Ryu... Viola... Jazz... Alucard... Paar and Nathaniel.

[hortulan]

[She stares up at the ceiling, wide awake now.]

And who pushed the button?

[hellpyre]

[Rin let out a snort.]

Ryu. But I told him to. But I asked Nathaniel first. So we're all kinda to blame.

[hortulan]

I'm not surprised. [Honestly, Rin.]

How long have you been stuck here?
