[Okay, so they had agreed to meet first thing in the morning, but Aoi is already at the monument before dawn even cracks. Come on, Aoi, this is kind of excessive. But what can she say? She's an early bird!

And she's content to wait; Patchouli will get there when she gets there, and when she does, Aoi will be doing sit-ups as a warm-up. No way she's gonna just stand there, c'mon.]

[Patchouli is... honestly, not that surprised to see Aoi had arrived at the monument early. It seems just like someone that energetic.]

Aoi, I'm not late, am I?

[She was awake a little early and had been considering what to use her shards for, given that she daily searches the Skyway for them, but doesn't do much with that because her only means of self-defense are magic. Also there's that whole feeling useless thing on missions we've been over this.]

[And with this next push forward she springs forward to actually sit straight, then jumps up to her feet.] Nope! I just came early! Ready to get going? Oh! I've got these... [She takes a half-step sideways and uses her foot to nudge a bottle of water in a pile of four set behind her.] ...aaand this! [Grinning, she pulls a piece of paper, full of wrinkles from folding, out of her sweatshirt pocket and presents it before her. If Patchouli can read Japanese, it's probably illegible anyway. The list has annotations and sometimes stars by most of the items, and there are a ton of bits crossed out upon second thought (the lack of proper equipment here is shameful!), so everything else has gotten smudged.] So we're all set!

Aoi... Not to offend, but your handwriting is atrocious. Plus, I think this... ran a little. Still, I appreciate the considerations. As for this... Perhaps you could dictate your list and I could just write it down. Well, if there were some paper and a writing tool around. We may have to do that first.

I suppose I should probably be wearing better clothing if I'm going to be doing this, but I had nothing suitable around. ... hm. Note to self, invest in something to wear while working with Aoi...

Oh, hehe, yeah, it's a little sloppy... [A little. She snatches the list back and lightly smacks it with her fingertips to straighten it out. It just kind of...falls limp. She flicks it until it stands back up again.] Uh, anyway, you don't need to worry about that, 'cause we're gonna do it together! One step at a time! All you've gotta do when I dictate a part is do it!

...Is that really all you have to wear, though? 'cause there's no way that'll do! [She purses her lips. Dresses are ridiculous.] You're gonna get gross and sweaty and it'll probably get in the way. Y'wanna borrow an outfit?

Yes... yes, it is. Well, this and a few mostly-identical outfits. [Possibly.] I wasn't really prepared for this. Borrowing something that I won't trip over would be nice. It's not worth it if I hurt myself.

Sure, sure, positive! We're gonna be making lots of adjustments as we go along. That's how these things work.

[She purses her lips.] Right. Nothing like that'll do at all. Okay, don't worry, I've got lotsa tank tops and shorts! C'mon! [For a half-moment she starts jogging towards the apartments, and then Aoi remembers that she doesn't want Patchouli to fall onto her face and hurt herself, so she slows down so that Patchouli doesn't need to keep up.]

A lot of the clothes here are kinda fancy, so I asked for a bunch of tank tops and shorts like the ones I came in wearing. So you can take a set for our workouts! They'll probably fit...

Well, as long as neither of us forgets. [Nah, she'll remember. She has a really good memory. Most of it, anyway.]

Alright. [Patchouli follows on foot. She's not about to cheat by flying. Well, levitating. Not when they're supposed to be exercising.] If I weren't as restricted as I am here, I could manage this very, very quickly. But I think the method would be outside the spirit of this.

Yes, I've noticed. If they will probably fit... Yes, I suppose we might actually be rather physically similar? Aside from the fact that I have nearly five feet of purple hair.
