A standard environmental suit, self-contained, would have prevented the gas from reaching you. It's pretty easy, just gotta have the right materials.

As for what else I can make, well... it's probably easier to list what I CAN'T build rather than what I can. The only thing limiting me right now is a lack of materials... and with the scrap yard that we found yesterday, even that won't last too long.

Add to that the fact that we got power back with that core, and I'm pretty much just looking for a work space now. A couple weeks of salvage operations should get me enough shards to build a decent workshop, and from there, it's easy as floating in space.
