[Zuko narrows her eyes at Grey. She doesn't think he's a bad person, but his loyalties lie with his own people. So why encourage them to get the core back as fast as they can? Does he think that's good for all of them, or just his own?]

It might not be a good idea to rush a core into the middle of a potential conflict.

You guys go ahead. We'll take the long way. Let us know what to expect before we bring this thing home.

B-but there's monsters and this thing is going to bring them here eventually!

[Loyalties may play a part in it, but Grey is a chickenshit too.]

[Suddenly there's a voice coming from directly behind Grey, and a moment later the invisibility potion ends and a man wearing pieces of animals and carrying a big axe appears from thin air.]

I don't have the arrival point set to a public area, so I can hide it and make sure everything's okay before revealing it.

[Way to terrify the new guy, Rob. Rin's concern lies more with the fact that they still haven't even left to warn the others back at the Bastion.] Whatever! We don't got time for this! You guys figure this shit out yourselves, this guy [she jerks a thumb at Psii] and I are gettin' back to the Bastion before there's no Bastion left to go home to!

[Zuko nods to Rin and the Weirdo before she can even figure out how to acknowledge Rob's contribution to the drama. Then she frowns at him in thought.]

Couldn't it be detected by the same thing that found it here?

[Ignoring Grey for the moment because yes, they all know about the monsters. That's part of why they're armed.]

[And with that, he's off running. Sure, he won't be able to go as the bat flies, but this way is plenty fast enough and saves energy.

Possibly, but the sudden change in location might mess with that. Either way though I'm thinking that the Bastion's probably the safest place for it all things considered. It'd at least mean giant monsters wouldn't be following you guys all the way back.

Take it to Colin if you can. He'll know what's going on, and he may have a better way of hiding it.

But don't put it in the Monument until I'm back.

Or at least Rob would say that if he knew how to people well enough to have picked up on the depths of Zuko's feelings about Colin.

Rob thumps his chest with his fist in an orc salute and nods.]

[He pulls his hearthstone from one of his belt pouches and takes the Core from Grey.]

[The symbol on the hearthstone glows, then Rob and the Core vanish in a flash of light.]

[Red and Grey better not start any trouble, he is so done with all of this.]

[It's not so much the company that bothers Zuko as the fact that they'll be the last ones to learn the situation there. She's worried.
