Okay, so! Talking to one of the prisoners got me... A lot of useful information.

A big one is this: They're seeking cores to power a device that they claim is capable of reviving the dead. Where I'm from, that's doable, if expensive, but... It can also go horribly wrong. So it's something to be cautious of.

That said, it is a basis for some negotiation... Or at least for knowledge of what's going on, from their perspective.

Megaera was simply on her way home to the Library by now, and seemed to be in a better mood than before. She'd done something that, hopefully, would be useful.

Bother her? Talk about the ethical considerations of what she did? Thank her? Something else? Your call.

[And then, suddenly, Megaera hugs Patchouli from behind, her footsteps coming just after the hug. She did, in fact, just teleport to right behind Patchouli and a few inches in the air, just to surprise the heck out of her.]

[Well, that was a surprise! But she finally gets a chance to look and see who's hugging her.]

[Megaera giggles, quickly kissing Patchouli.]

Sorry. I've just had to spend quite a while getting that information, so a little spontaneous fun seemed like a good thing.

[And Megaera gives Patchouli a quick kiss. No draining or anything, just a normal kiss.]

[Patchouli smiles a little, and then she heads over toward her bed.]

[Megaera follows Patchouli directly to the bed, of course~]

Perhaps a bit. But just wanting to cuddle a little isn't bad either, right?

Not at all. [She smiles a little, too!]

[Megaera hugs Patchouli from behind again - less unexpectedly, this time.]

Wonderful to hear. So very wonderful.

[She turns over as best she can to face Megaera and give her a hug, just smiling and not saying anything for now..]

[Megaera reciprocates the hug, then slowly twists to move until she's seated on the bed. Depending on how Patchouli responds, she could end up in any number of positions - though Megaera's aiming for 'sitting next to her'.]

[Well, she is still going to be lying down, but Meg is still sitting next to her.

This is seriously wearing her out, you know.]

[Megaera responds by leaning slightly on Patchouli's side, long enough to pull her boots, then her gloves off. Then, she just kind of leaaaaans down until she's lying down, facing Patchouli.]

Mmmm... This is nice.

I love spending time with you, Megaera.

[She smiles again.]

Yeah. I just... With all that's happening, just getting away to be just with you. That's what I wanted now, so...

I completely understand, Megaera. I'm glad we can spend time together at all, and at a time like this, when we both need it so much...

I wish it could stay like this. I... I like not being alone, and actually feeling like I'll stay that way.
