[Day 326, Action then post]
Who: Megaera and anyone who wants to speak with her
Open: Open Action, with an Open Broadcast later.
When: Day 326 [backdated], Afternoon
Where: All over the Bastion - feel free to specify just about anyplace.
What: Megaera's trying to figure her identity out... Again.
Format: Your call
Warnings: A bit of purple prose.
[Action]
And so Megaera walked. It was her norm when she couldn't clear her head, and nine days ago had certainly done a lot to muddy her thoughts.
She still had some ides of who she was... She thought. But after Crona and Ragnarok's death, that had come into question.
She should have been able to save them. Should have seen this coming - Colin had mentioned things like this at least once. She was a Wizard, and the Wizard always had the plan. That was literally what she was supposed to be!
So why had she failed so badly? Why hadn't she seen that trap coming? It'd have been trivial to negate the start of the trap entirely. And then...
... She walked. Trying to get the thoughts out of her head.
But then, there was the other side of who she was. Even now, depressed, her walk defaulted to a sashay. A human who was in her state of mind probably wouldn't be wearing her usual thigh-high boots with heels, her gloves, her dress... Perhaps that was more important, now? Succubi, though, were temptresses. It came with the immortality, the lack of need for sleep, the shapeshifting powers... Ultimately, her role on the Wall was to lure others to join her as part of the Wall. Was that more important now? She wasn't sure now... And that, perhaps, was the most painful part of all.
As she passes you, she might mutter something along the lines of her identity, being useful, or just being entirely unintelligible.
[Amulet Signal]
... Anyone mind if I take a turn interrogating the prisoners? I think I might be able to get a few new answers... Including one I won't be asking them.
[OOC: Megaera's not 100% sure where she's going with this, to say the least. If no one argues too much against Megaera interrogating the prisoners, she'll go do so in another action thread on this post.]

"... Hey."
It's not quite curt or ill-intended, but it is short.

[offering a piece of normal jerky]
Re: [Action]
[Megaera takes it, biting it slightly.]
It's just... I'm not sure where to go with anything now.
[Action]
You could try going to somewhere new and exciting???
[Not... really sure what Megaera is talking about]

Re: [Action]
Oh.
Um...
Maybe you'd like some relaxing and unexciting music???

Tell me.
...Speak, learn. Tell me.
[She wants to share in whatever knowledge you glean from them, Meg. Your own call as to whether that's a good idea or not.]
[Amulet]
[Amulet]
[Ikuri asked because she wasn't entirely confident the others would share the findings with her - or that they would tell her the whole truth. You, on the other hand, are someone she trusts.]
[And she'll rest a little easier knowing that it's you who's taking care of this.]
Re: [Amulet]
Just... Make sure when you get the info, you don't go off and do anything crazy, okay? We've got to make our plans to end this as best we can.
[Amulet]
[...]
[silence. Ikuri can't promise that. She's not sure she could if she wanted to. She doesn't know what's going to happen- not with her, not with anything in the future.]
[Thing is...she grasps that you're asking her out of concern. That touches her, it truly genuinely does. And she does not want to disrespect or disregard that. Rather the opposite, she wishes more than anything that she knew the proper thing to say to you, but- truth is, we've got different feelings clashing over this matter right now.]
[So she stays quiet.]

Are you upset about that person who died, too?
[Tact: never something Anya has really grasped.]
Re: [action]
... Not that, by itself at least.
It's more... That I feel like I failed people.
no subject
I blame Giles. It's his fault I became all human and vulnerable in the first place.

The basic trap used was pretty obvious, and something I could have handled in a few different ways, had I caught it ahead of time. It's because I failed that...
