[Locked to Ippo, night of 308]
[At their house, Ibuki can be found sitting on the couch and clutching a pillow to herself; clad in her pajamas. Her piercings were already taken out for the day, though she hadn't let her hair down just yet.]

[She felt sick after everything she remembered... and she was worried. It'd be well within Ippo's right to turn his back on her if she told him. But ... still, he had to know, right? It wasn't right to keep that from him. She took in a shuddering breath, waiting for her boyfriend to return.]

[Open to all, day 309]
[The next day, Ibuki can be found doing her usual duties around the bastion. Cooking, taking care of the cows, and ... napping?]

[She took naps now and then, sure, but usually never where people can generally stumble across her. For that matter, her naps don't seem to last long as she suddenly awakes with a jerk and a miserable expression.]

[Also notable is the fact that she hasn't bothered to do up her hair or put in her piercings...]

[At some point during the day, she can be found going to the smithy to hand back the revolver she'd gotten there some time ago. Maya was long gone... and then Raile disappeared recently, too. And besides that, she wasn't sure she could trust herself with a weapon anymore... not with those memories floating around in her mind.]

[Locked to Colin, day 309]
[Eventually, she'll be wandering into Colin's workshop...]

[Ibuki's not looking any better than earlier that day]

[Well, when Ippo stepped into Colin's shop, he'd been expecting to talk about some upgrades to his gauntlets...what he saw, wasn't exactly on the list of things he was anticipating seeing. Not that there was anything wrong with Ibuki hugging Colin or anything...it was just something out of his ordinary.]

Did...I come at a bad time? Should I...leave?

[Colin looks over at Ippo, and he smirks.]

You leave now, you're not gonna get the full treatment Ippo.

[His eyes twinkle with mischievous delight.]

Now papa gets to be protective and say stuff like, "You better treat her right or else", at you!

[He beams at Ibuki, then he looks at Ippo and looks deadly serious.]

[He looks at Ibuki again, his serious demeanor totally evaporating.]

That was amazing, papa! Ibuki got shivers down her spine and everything!

[She then turns to Ippo to answer his question]

Ippo-chan, Ippo-chan, it happened just today!

[Yeah, he'd be lying if he said he wasn't feeling the chills too...but he'll push past that enough to hold out a hand for Colin to shake.]

Well...if that's how it is, should I start calling you my step-dad? I wouldn't dream of hurting Ibuki...she means the world to me.

[Seriously, if Ippo of all people is giving her a ring, then she has to be someone special.]

[He smiles, and grasps Ippo by the wrist. Sorry Ippo, it's how his culture shakes hands.]

Don't expect too much to change. I'm just gonna keep looking out for Ibuki like I've been doing. Now I've just got a title to back it up.

Oh! Ibuki just had a thought! Can Ibuki be Ibuki Starfury now, papa? And then when Ippo-chan marries Ibuki, he can be Ippo Starfury!

Alright, sounds good to me. I actually was wondering if we could do something to give my gauntlet lasers some more kick! If not...I think it's time for some basic maintenance anyways.

[And he'll put them down on the counter. Notably, they look pretty well cared for, but also notably beat up on account of use. He gets a lot of mileage out of these things.]

Ippo Starfury, huh? ...That sounds pretty awesome actually!

[Colin smiles, and he reaches out to tussle Ibuki's hair.]

If you want it, you can have it. Just be warned... I ever get back to my universe, and you come with me? That name will bring you a lot of unwanted attention.

[It occurred to Ippo that he didn't really know much about his friend's family. It had never really come up before and Ippo hadn't really felt like asking; family, especially here, could be an understandably sore subject.]

[He gives an amused grin.]

They hide in there when it's science time, so it's all fair. Jade's the only one that can keep up with me there.

[He couldn't help but be a little morbidly curious as to just what Colin could put together if he had the resources.]

My people build PLANETS. My home is a ship the size of Earth's moon, and I controlled how she moved.

[They're both from Earth, that should be a scale they can understand...]

My people were on the verge of leaving this galaxy, exploring the next one.

[Ah...ah crap...he'd gone and done it hadn't he? He wasn't going to hug Colin, but he'd get a hand on his shoulder regardless. He honestly didn't know what to say though, this was one of those situations where he thought it best to keep his mouth shut rather than make things worse.]
