What: It's that time again! Time for a Pokemon Daycare Log! But this time we've got some new stuff to do!

[The Pokemon Daycare is a common sight to anyone who has been in the Bastion long enough. Pokemon in general are also a common sight, as there are plenty wandering around either on their own or with partners thanks to the two owners of said daycare.

Today is no different in that regard, but it is different in that some gifts have been bestowed upon the daycare courtesy of Colin. A jungle gym, an agility race course, and several carnival strength tester machines have been set up near the front, as well as a shaded, beautiful looking grotto complete with a large pond and a waterfall.

The Pokemon that are there are having an absolute blast with their new toys, and N can even be found taking a couple of them through the race course.

It would be a good day to join them, see what Pokemon are out and about, and even play with the ones that are there!]

[Hopefully Golurk won't mind a little human company. Zoura has properly worn N out with her antics, and a nice calm sit in the grotto seems like a good idea.

Having Golurk's company is just a plus to that, for N at least.]

[Golurk doesn't, and the large Pokemon turns to face N slightly. They rumble a bit of a question. Is everything all right?]

[That's all he says about it, even slumping in exhaustion against Golurk. Babby pokemon wear him out...]

[Golurk just pats his shoulder gently. You should rest more. Young humans need to rest more often than they do.]

I have to keep up with the young ones...

[Especially Zoura.]

They really seem to really like the equipment Colin put up.

[We can help take care of them. You need to be taken care of, too.]

Isn't this what running a daycare is about, though?

[Yes. But you'll wear yourself out.]

[AZ wanders over and sits nearby, but he makes an effort not to interrupt them.]

[And he doesn't want to do that, but it's been difficult lately since so many of their past helpers were no longer in the Bastion.]

They're a lot of work.

[Then let us help. I'm sure AZ would be happy to take on more if you asked him.]

I thought he already had his hands full taking care of his own team.

[Guess who isn't aware that AZ has joined them?]

Most of them can take care of themselves just fine by now. Eevee's the only real exception.

[AZ just smiles a little bit, tugging his hat down over his eyes a bit more. Golurk rumbles in agreement before speaking up again.]

[When all but one of us are over a century, we can take care of things just fine. We know where we can and can't go without permission... and things that are forbidden for us are that way for a reason. 'Going on the Skyway' being the major one here, and Golurk isn't complaining about that one. That place is dangerous to go to alone.]

N doesn't jump in surprise, but there is a bit of a startle to his shoulders before he relaxes upon realizing it's just AZ.]

Eevee is still a handful, just like Zoura...

She is, but she's getting better about it. It's easier for them to be children here for longer, with no predators and no real need to battle. ... But she's growing up, slowly.

[She may be close to evolving. We're not sure.]

[She had brought that up, but he wasn't going to rat her out given that the conversation had happened in private.]

You're lucky then. I don't know if Zoura is ever going to grow up at this rate.

I don't know. Maybe Eevee could talk to her? It's not that I don't enjoy them being happy and free... but this place does have very real dangers. This place is all they've ever known... but they don't know a lot about what the world outside of this safe area is.

[There comes a time that every Pokemon must leave innocence behind and learn of the dangers past their den. It's unfortunate... but they do need to learn.]

I'm not sure. I'd like to think it would help, but even Zoroark has tried having conversations with her about it and she doesn't seem to want to listen.

[He loves Zoura, but she really is one of the more difficult Pokemon among their ranks.]

... I could try talking with her, if you want. I'm not you - I don't know their language - but I've been around both Pokemon and children enough to maybe be able to know what the right things to say are.
