[Ibuki can be found chasing after a a certain pokémon, who's just flapping around and getting into all sorts of places and things]

Lita-chaaaaaaaaaan! Come baaaaaaaaaack!

"Nope nope nope! No booty! No booty!"

[And yes, the two will be taking a grand tour of the entirety of the Bastion, including building interiors]

[... and despite it looking like Ibuki's trying to get her chatot to return to her, she's being helpful and opening doors to places that would otherwise be inaccessible to the pokémon]

[Buildings inaccessible to Pokemon, you say? Like, perhaps, the cannery? Because that's where Jane is today, and she turns at the sound of an opening door and the very adamant, chattering Chatot.]

[Ooooh, and there's Ibuki.] Ibuki?

[The chatot flaps around, looking for a nice perch to land on]

Ah! Jane-chan, hello!

[There's several nice shelves waiting for canned and jarred goods that a Chatot could make herself snug in, as well as the handles for pot lids...but the shelves are definitely more out-of-reach.]

What are you doing? What's that bird...is it yours?

[The chatot perches on a pot lid handle near Jane]

"Jane-chan!"

Lita-chan, do it, do the in-tro-duction!

"Goddess of metal Lita-chan! Lita-chan!"

[Well, it's...a little strange, meeting another creature like this, but Jane laughs despite the strangeness and waves slightly.] Hello, Lita-chan! My, that's something else - did you teach her to do that, Ibuki?

[She's not even all that perturbed anymore, look at this.]

[Lita-chan is actually a he but... but Ibuki doesn't know that]

Yup, yup! Ibuki taught her that! Isn't that right, Lita-chan?

[Well Lita-chan is adorable regardless of gender.]

That's pretty cool! But I can't say I've ever seen this kind of parrot before...is Lita-chan one of those Pokemon?

[It's a wild guess, but one she's coming to rely on a bit more here. Jane reaches out hesitantly to see if Lita-chan will let her pet him.]

[Lita gently prods his beak against Jane's hand. Yess pettings]

That's right, that's right! Ibuki was given an egg, and then she gave birth to a pokémon!

[Then pettings shall be had! That seems to the the trend for Jane lately - meet a Pokemon? Pet it!

Oooh, but Ibuki is too young t be a mom! Aren't I, Lita-chan?!

[Oh gosh this is silly. This is quite silly.]

Hoo hoo! Well, for a human child definitely, but it should be alright for a Pokemon, shouldn't it?

[Jane you are also too young to be a mom. This is the too-young-to-be-mom squad over here.]

Maybe you can give Ibuki some child raising tips! She might corrupt Lita-chan!

"Fooooooool!"

Except Colin-sama-chan beat Ibuki to that! Whoops!

"Olin-chan!"

Oh - oh, golly, um, but I've never...

[She's flustered only for a moment, and then Lita-chan's call of "Fooooooool!" makes her laugh again. More pets for you, Lita-chan, you're precious.]

Oooh, that makes two of us! Ibuki has noooooooo clue! Nobody ever set any good examples for her!

"Buki-chan mama!"

[Now that gets Jane to pause, still chuckling, but a little concerned.]

So, so, Ibuki will just have to play it by ear! Good thing her ears are reaaallly good.

[... Ibuki no, that's not-]

[She gives Lita-chan an absentminded pat.]

Well...if you ever needed help, isn't there that place where Hilda lives? She seems to know a lot about taking care of Pokemon.

Right, right, there's lots of pokémon masters that Ibuki can run to for help if she ever needs to!

[Lita-chan nuzzles Jane's hand]

I'm fairly certain that as long as you're kind to Lita-chan, she'll be fine.

[She laughs - Ibuki's good cheer is infectious.]

[Jane makes to scoop Lita-chan back up, as if to give the Pokemon back to Ibuki...]
