Day 253 | Open | Also open for Business
Who: Calem and You! Whether you like it or not...
Open: Open
When: Day 253
Where: At Bastion's brand new Salon
What: Calem bought a Salon. He wants customers. Get in here. You're a mess.
Format: I'll follow whatever format you use
Warnings: None yet!
Something had been bugging Calem about the people who lived in Bastion. It had been bothering him pretty much since he arrived at the place. People in general... well they looked like a mess. Understandable given the nature of the place and honestly he couldn't fault them THAT much. Clearly someone had to step up and grab this Tauros by the horns. And that someone was him.
He had SOME experience dealing with people hair. Much more experience grooming his pokemon, but hey, his Furfrou's coat grew out every few days. He had plenty of time to experiment on her.
After some requests at the monument were filled there was a brand new establishment in Bastion. It small building with white walls and a black roof, the front of which, including the door was entirely glass with the words 'Salon de Bastion~' painted on it in an elegant script. The interior had a lot of warm yellows and reds, and his Lucario was busy neatening up a shelf that displayed a variety of hair care products. There was also an incredibly fancy looking dog lounging on a rug by the small waiting area. Which you would of course know if you came in and investigated for yourself. You know, if one thought they could use a trim or perhaps wanted to redye their hair a color it was before the end of the universe. These people were greeted with a smile and offered a seat.
However... the greatest offenders most likely would not step in side a place like this of their own free will if their life depended on it. So after a bit he found himself wandering out, leaving the two pokemon to watch over things, and steeled himself to find the problem customers. Anyone who looked like they needed attention in particular... he gently grabbed them by the arm, said, "I insist you accompany me!" before swiftly attempting to herd them back to his little shop.

Not that Zuko takes poor care of her hair. She's not acquainted with modern shampoo and trims it with a dagger, but she brushes it and puts it up neatly, so by that token she has a lot of the Bastion beat.]

Zuko! Nice to see you again. What do you think?
[ He waves in a broad gesture. Zuko always looked classy in his opinion and Calem was certain that she was probably at least somewhat fashionable back wherever she was from. Surely her opinion would be valuable. ]
I've made it my mission to make Bastion slightly less unkempt looking!

But right now she just looks a little baffled by the place.]
Unkempt? What is this place for?

[ He sighs and shakes his head. Sometimes he felt that type outnumbered the reasonably put together by a significant margin. ]
That alone should make the purpose of this place obvious. It's a salon. And within I will apply my expert knowledge of hair care and general beauty products to those of Bastion who truly need them.

I didn't know there were things like that for... ['Commoners,' she's about to say. Wow, she hasn't done that in a while.] I mean. Were there a lot of salons where you come from?
