Day 309 [Open]
Who: Anya, Ibuki, Patchouli, and anyone else!
Open: Open! Mostly.
When: Day 309
Where: All over the Bastion
What: SNOW!
Format: I'll match
Warnings: It's Anya.
[For Ibuki and Patchouli]
[Sometime after lunch, Anya takes off to look for two of her best lady friends with a spellbook under her arm and some key ingredients in her pockets.
She's quite cheerful about it, a little oblivious to whatever else might have been going on lately. Cheerful, and insistent. She will track you down.]
[Open to All]
[Later in the day, Bastionites may be surprised to look up and notice that... it's snowing. Not only that, but the temperature has dropped.
At least in the more southerly parts of the Bastion. The farmlands might get a few sporadic flurries, but it isn't cold enough there to stick.
So if you've been missing snowmen or snowball fights or any of those activities that require winter to happen, now's your chance. It's probably not going to last very long.]
((OOC: And feel free to just use this post for mingling!]

All of the OTA, all the time. :|b - Totally open.
[In its own way, it is beautiful. In another, it is sad. And in one more still, it is peaceful.]

[Look how far her goodwill is extending today, she's even trying to be helpful to a total stranger without expecting anything in return.
Well, maybe a thank you.]

Snow.

[It's not a difficult word. Maybe this girl is not very bright. Or maybe she's just young? Anya is not good with ages.]
Have you never seen snow before?

[She doesn't seem to have an answer.]

Can you understand me? Did you not get one of these?
[She holds up the shard pendant she's wearing around her neck that does the magical translation stuff.]
no subject
I understand you.
[Yes, that's...similar to the object she discovered a few days ago.
Still in her pocket; she hasn't chosen to wear it openly.]no subject

Take from it what you will, apparently.]no subject
You aren't very successful at conversation, are you?
COMING UP - a surprisingly earnest answer:
[she shakes her head.]

Actual words and sentences are also very helpful.

[What's closer to the truth is she's out of practice; she technically does now how to communicate with spoken language, even if she doesn't do it well. It's also an unspoken truth that she's not comfortable trying.]no subject
You know, with your vocal cords? Like you did before?
I'm not a mind-reader.

[BUT YOU CAN READ EYES CAN'T YOU][...this is becoming more difficult than it's worth.]

THESE BOOTS WERE MADE FORwalking away now, hope you don't mind]no subject
Still, she's going to remark as the girl walks away:]
Well, that was rude.
