[When Nathaniel calls for one of the all-too familiar meetings regarding cores, he looks pretty unhappy. In fact, he looks like he has some bad news to give. Whatever it is, everyone should come listen, because it's pretty important!]

Well, Pokemon tend to be commonly called by their species name, so everyone's just been calling her Furfrou. Some trainers nickname their partners, though. As far as I know, Furfrou doesn't have a nickname. Buuuut ... Furfrou also doesn't have a trainer. We're just taking care of her.

What does a trainer do, exactly?

The best answer to that is that a trainer is, above all, a friend to their Pokemon. Many trainers will battle with their Pokemon to help them become stronger. Other trainers just like to live alongside Pokemon as friends and loyal companions.

Ah... that latter one sounds like me, to be honest. I mean... if I have to fight, then I will, but... I'd much rather spend time with this one if I had a choice in the matter.

I've got some potions ready. Invisibility for 17 seconds, increasing natural healing rate, restoring stamina, added resistance to fire - probably pointless in a swamp but I have it - nothing that'll deal with those poisons though. I'll get them when we're done here.

[He also has an untested blade poison that will (if this attempt at making it worked) increase the victim's weakness to fire, which he'll give to Zuko, but he only has one so he feels kind of awkward giving it to her in front of everyone else so that'll be handed over when no one else is around.]

The end is not quite in sight, though. No matter which path is taken, it will be a bit more walking until the group reaches the spot where the core is.]
