What: Haruka is finally getting that mural started. Or at least he was, until he decided to take a break and fall asleep

[Some time between Day 290 and 293, a strange structure had come to sit against an outside wall of the old apartments. And also in that time, the entire side that it sat against had been painted pure white.

Slowly through those days, a rough sketch started to appear as well, detailing familiar faces of the residents of the Bastion in various poses as well as a large "banner" drawn above them with... some sort of text that most people weren't going to be able to read unless they were Japanese.

Not that Haruka was giving much thought to language barriers. This was his mural project, the same one he had been going on about for some time now, in it's beginning stages with not much to be impressed about beyond the obvious skill behind the preliminary sketches that had gone up.

Today was no different in that he would be continuing to work on it, and even starting the arduous task of painting all those people.

Though if anyone passed by in the late afternoon, they might think he had ducked out early due to the absence of the scraggly-haired teen on the scaffolding that Colin had built for him.

Except...

is that snoring coming from up there?]

Naegi has to pause and double-take at the rough sketch to make sure that he's seeing himself up there - and then does another one when he starts hearing snoring from somewhere above him.

. . . these scaffolds aren't rickety, right? Because he's gonna start climbing up just to see what's going on. :|; ]

[ She ... probably should be more worried than she is right now about him. She hears him snoring, though. He's fine. Unless he rolls over and drops to his death.

Oh and. She might be making some attempts at being a good girlfriend. She's got a bag in one hand that presumably has some food in it.

Not food that she cooked. More than likely food that Rin cooked. But still food. ]

[...Patchouli hears the snoring. She has no idea who that is, but she's on her way up to investigate the snoring.

Whoever that is, they probably should go sleep inside, or something. It'd be more comfortable, at least?}

[Well they were built by Colin, and while he may not be the most liked person in the Bastion he is not known for cutting corners.

It will hold up plenty with Naegi joins the sleeping Haruka up on the structure.]

[ Once Naegi reaches Haruka's bed somewhere on the scaffolds, he pauses for several moments, not... quite believing what he was seeing.

It doesn't take him long to approach and start poking him, though. ]

Hey... is this really a good place for you to be sleeping...?

[That's... one way to get him to wake up. He jerks up with a snort, blinking tired eyes at Takane.]

[And, after glancing at the bag:]

[He's just taking a nap! He doesn't need to be inside for that.

Though he is getting paint on his face from one of the brushes near him...]

... however, she does notice that when she gets near him and moves said paintbrush away from his face. Yeah, it might be a bad idea having that happen.]

[There are railings! Why does everyone seem to think Colin wouldn't have built this thing with safety measures?!]

Mmmn... [Harkua sits up, yawning and stretching loudly.] It was a good nap.

[Haruka would thank you for that... if he was awake.

Apparently he's a heavy enough sleeper that even having some one right there over him does nothing to wake him.

[River can read the banner and on some level she's certainly aware of Haruka asleep up there, but her attention is captured completely by the preliminary sketches on the wall. Her eyes dart over it with growing agitation until she finally starts climbing up the scaffolding in search of more white paint to cover it all up.

Luckily she's not being quiet about it so hopefully he'll wake up in time to stop her from doing anything.]

[Normally Zuko doesn't really care about art. She was just going to walk by with a cursory glance at what he's up to, but then she realizes what he's drawn kind of looks familiar.

Like it seems to be all people and even in the sketching stage she can recognize some of them.

Is she on here somewhere??

Zuko frowns up at the snoring coming from the scaffolding and raises her voice.]

[He's not that heavy of a sleeper.

[Worried now that Yukio is gone, but getting by as he always does.]

I'm working on the mural finally!

Ah... I think you mentioned that at some point, right?

[ Naegi's giving it another once over, nodding in approval. ]

It looks really nice so far...

[That gets an eye open, squinting slightly.]

Mhm. Just taking a break.

[That sure is a good way to get him to wake up. At first it's a slow crawl out of whatever nap-dream he was having, but he all but jerks out of it once he realizes his white paint bucket has been grabbed and there's someone intending to use it.]

H-hey--!

[A snort greets her at first, but soon enough the messy-haired teen is poking his head over the side to look down.]

Yes?

Mhm!

[Haruka shifted around where he sat, crossing his legs and resting his paint-stained hands on his ankles.]

It's gonna be a lotta work, but I can't really do much else for this place. Making something bright and encouraging is the best I can do!

[Are you sure that's all, Haruka? Well, she's not in much position to question it, so she'll just leave you be.]
