In which Megaera freaks the hell out
Who: Megaera
Open: Very Open!
When: Day 278, just after this mess.
Where: Anywhere vaguely between the Radio tower and the Waterfall
What: Megaera is seriously injured, freaking out, and oh right just revealed her true form.
Format: Log or other player's preference
Warnings: Some body horror, blood.
She was bleeding, but she was ignoring the pain. Her natural regeneration hadn't completely done the job, and as a result, her right hand was basically useless. No casting anything until it was back. But, to Megaera, that was a much smaller concern.
For one, her blood - still dropping to the ground every so often - was clearly not humanlike at all - the red was too bright, like some attempt to make something else look like human blood. Her form, too, wasn't recognizably hers. Cloven hooves, large batlike wings, the horns on her head, and her hands both shaped like vicious claws. She was still too freaked out to think to concentrate for the few seconds it would take to return to her natural form.
All she could think of was getting away from everyone. No humanoid in their right minds would trust a succubus, no one could rely on her now that she'd been obviously hiding her true nature for so long... She didn't even notice the tears streaming down her face, nor was she paying enough attention to where she was going, nor even did she consider what she'd do when she got there.
[OOC: Feel free to run into Megaera pretty much wherever; she's going towards the waterfall, and will eventually sit there, crying and continuing to freak out. Someone trying to help her calm herself down would probably be ideal...]
